Me also. But for some reason kids always love me and won't leave me alone. They latch onto me if some visitors being their children to our house. Wears me out and gives me a headache. So I usually go out if I know someone is coming around with their kids. If I was in the OPs situation I would have gone away from the pool and the bloody kids sound loud, annoying and out of control.

You are mistaken. The masks are worn to prevent people who have COVID spreading it when they cough or sneeze. They are not for preventing you getting it.

And there is no incentive or funding into research / studies to prove masks are not helpful either. Why would mask companies fund research into proving their masks don't work? They want to sell them!

How do you know the vaccines minimised the severity of your infection? It may well have been just as mild without them. A couple of people I know did not have any of the vaccines and they contracted COVID...but both had very mild symptoms too. Seems the new strains of covid are not as severe as the first ones. Also, everyone on my close family are fully vaccinated and 8 of them (except my mother) have contracted covid, sometimes twice. I have not had the vaccines and have never (touch wood) caught COVID...and, while I obey the rules about face masks and temperature checks in shopping malls etc, I am don't constantly sanatize my hands and I don't wear a mask on my motor bike, or when outdoors.

I think people here would be better to adopt this plan...... 1. Get a puppy 2. Then when it starts to look a bit old or they want another cute puppy, kill the old one and eat it. Better to eat it then abandon it on the streets to suffer and have a hard life...being a potential danger to humans...which is what many seem to do here. Also makes economic sense...as they keep moaning about the increasing price of pork and chicken.

And.....what happened to the puppies and dogs? Did you or anyone else have the compassion to given them a home, to sterilise them so this problem wound not happen the next time the bitch gets pregnant? Did you or the other compassionate people take them to the vets to get their vaccinations to prevent them getting diseases and suffering? Did anyone deworm them, treat them for worms and give them rabies vaccinations? That did not happen with the compassionate animal loving people in my street. They fed up the pregnant dog. It has 6 puppies. . They fed the puppies but left them all on the street. Many got mange, one died slowly of some disease, one was hit by a car and had to survive with a broken leg and pelvis. No one was smart enough to take financial responsibility for them. The ones that survived grew up. 3 were bitches and then they had puppies. The mother dog also had more puppies. People fed them....same as above.... Now, 5 years later, instead of one female dog there are over 30 diseased, sickly dogs in the street. They fight with each other, they bite people, knocked someone off their scooter. They bark and howl through the night and kill peoples chickens and cats. They rip oven garbage bags and spread trash all over the street. This is the direct result of the kind of 'compassionate' people you talk about who feed street dogs. They make the problems for the poor dogs WORSE for their own selfish reason of feeling smug and 'kind' by feeding them.

Yes...they are outraged if someone kills a dog, or a cat is run over with a car....yet they happily feed their dogs and cats dead animals in the pet food. Double standards....

You are in a dream world. I am skinny and young and an animal lover. I have 2 dogs of my own. Yet i have been bitten by street dogs here. As a good animal lover you should know it's wrong for dogs to roam around freely and live on the streets. It's cruel for them, dangerous for people. They do have a right to be here on earth just like all other animal....so why are you not feeding city rats and pigeons as well as dogs..and welcoming covid 19 into your body....as it's also for a right to be here?
