jak2002003 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
As a married gay man this was interesting to me. I have no idea why you would read the article if you are not interested in the subject ..but I have a good idea why people like you would comment on it on this thread. -

What?! Why not? So you want to tell our adopted children they have to be taken off us because we are gay? -

Trans women athletes fairness question is not going away

Women want equality. There should be no discrimination against men or women in sports. Let the women and men compete together...with the transgendered too...and disabled. There is not excuse to tell people they are excluded from a team or sport. -
Ok...... Yes.....but they are legally next of kin. If same sex marriage was not registered or recognised in a country as legal then their partner would not be next of kin and would have no right against family / hospitals, assets etc etc....even a will wil have a higher chance to be contested by family. Would you be happy if your marriage or was not legal?
-
But they won't have to bother paying a solicitor or taking the time to do the living will, power of attorney etc. If they are registered as same sex couple. No visa as yet...but this is a step in the right direction. There would be no chance of that if this stage was not approved. Anyway, now they could have the choice....which is more the point.

Thailand’s second monkeypox case now in hospital

Of course....foreigners fault. Bit old be be a sex worker isn't he? I can't see many gay men coming over here to sleep with a guy nearly 50 years old. -
Why isn't every male in the UK living in thailand?

....Or they don't want to marry an uneducated prostitute who had sex with hundreds of fat old men and is only with them for their money.....and who are messed up in the head (and will rip you off at the earlies opportunity...so you can never really trust them). -
It was clearly the dirty guests fault! If they had not eaten the food they would not be sick. Also they should remember they are only guests in the homestay..... And now they are being very bad and damaging the reputation of the homestay. If they don't like the homestay they should stay at home! No one forced them to eat the food! ????

I have a nasty wart growing on my scalp....so an outing. I am a very clean and fastidious person and it's revolting to me. Had it many months and can't get rid of it as it migrates from the back of my head to the front.....despite daily treatment and doctor even surgically.removing it. It's really notable and people keep being concerned about it. Have taken to wearing a hat. I am sure some people will think it's monkey pox. ????

Wish you better luck than I had. My best belt buckle broke. Could not find anyone to fix it. Went to many places that were recommended. No one was interested. Bought a new good quality one from a leather goods shop. About second week of having or I put it on for the 3rd time and the buckle fell apart. Took it back to the shop and they refused to fix it, give me a new one, or give me a refund. Told me once it's left the shop they won't do anything. So annoyed.

This is very strange logic.. Why should anyone be able to dictate who can marry who or sleep with who that want? Think how you feel if some white nationalists where having debates in public about if you should be allowed to marry an Asian woman. You would be annoyed, I hope, and rightly so. If people you meet with your Thai wife starred making an issue about your relationship are you saying you don't care? And then saying nice race children are bad or they should take your kids off you as they might be bullied or its not natural.. Come on!

Are the people you 'hang out' with smug and self righteous by any chance? ???? -
Well that sounds great. I just research it a little and I am impressed with it!

I would not trust most of the Christian so called 'orphanages'. Most are basically money making businesses using children as a commodity..to bring in more money so the owners can buy more cars and have a nice house....and also brainwash the kids to give up their traditional beliefs and customs and become Christians....also there is a lot of abuse goes on in many. Rather than give the place money you can donate clothes, equipment and food. Or help out there and check all is ok with the place before you give any money. If the place does not want that then they can't be trusted.

What is the problem with porn? Sex and sexual stuff is part of being human. We are not in some strict Muslim place...where it's fine to chop peoples heads off in public but horrific to look at a picture of a naked woman. Let them have all the porn they want. It's not bad for health...it's better than drinking and drugs, and gives people pleasure and relaxation.. It's also better than unwanted pregnancy and STD's.

Yeah...but not of the scale of the invaders ...they were no way wiping themselves out or destroying their societies, beliefs or the environment.
