Oh dear, I hope she likes fish head soup..........????
Don't worry. If she gets a high blood pressure reading and feels a bit sick due to the stress of going to prison on the first day...... I am sure she will be helicopters to a private air conditioned hospital room to relax with basic comforts.

Can we bring this forum to 21st century functionality? Like adding a feature to edit (spelling) mistakes?
There is that feature
After you posted you can edit the post by using the 3 black dots on top rigjt of your post.
This brings up a menu and edit is one option that can be selected.

Ha Ha, lazy man!
Market bought oranges and other chemically grown food are unlikely to be healthy and high nutrient density. Grow your own with good soil fertility and water management.
Orange trees have 'nice' fragrant flowers
Haha. Well, maybe.a bit...but I soeak from experience.
There is a reason that oranges are produced only in certain areas of Thailand.
They are suited to different attitudes, temperatures and rainfall, soil makeup, micro climates etc.
We can get the soil mix OK for them..but if the area the op is living in is too hot for them or the climate is not optimal then the tree will constantly have problems with diseases, pests and poor health.
The same goes for the fruit itself...likely low quality, poor taste and texture or diseased.
It's a nice idea to have lush orange tree producing big juicy oranges in your garden...but the reality is usually different and dissapointing.
Limes do very well at low altitudes here in CM. But not oranges.

Just an example.....
You go to Savannakhet and obtain a ME Non O marriage and enter Thailand.
Visa valid for 12 months
You need to make a TM30.
That visa is multi when you exit and reenter you do not need to file another TM30
Em... Technically you do. When you return, if you don't do a TM30, your 90 day report will be refused. And you will have to update the TM30 and pay a fine.
It's possible you could get lucky a few times, but they will get you eventually.
When you return to your house from abroad or from a hotel within Thailand, your wife or you should go and update the bloody stupid TM30.
This is the official law... But many immigration offices pick and choose how they enforce it..or when.

I'm not saying we should ban anything.
But we should acknowledge what it is. And that is Religious Bigotry.
Yes. Most Muslims will say LGBQ people should be illegal or killed.
That's because it tells them that in the Koran and they stick to it strictly.
If they are going to be like that how can any gay people like Muslims?
It's beyond me how religious people of most religions expect other people to have to follow their religious rules... And how society can tolerate these religious nutters that have all that hate for non believers, gays, women or other religions.
Religion is not compatible with modern developed society. It's prinative and backward.
I can't tolerate religion that makes believers violent or hateful to other people or ways of life.

Why Should we post unfelt and bogus RIP's for a nonentity that we know nothing about?
If that is you view, then why are you posting negative comments on the death of a young person that you know nothing about.?

TM30
in Chiang Mai
All went well at the immigration office.
IThey updated the TM30 with no questions asked.
After that did my 90 day report.

America these days does not seem any different sometimes to some radical strick Muslim country.
So much homophobia and racism there.
It's not what the American dream was supposed to be.
Why can't people just be nice to each other and accept differences in opinions...we are not all the same and never will be.

It's been over a month for me trying to deal with a messed up sleep pattern. I'm awake all night then finally get off to sleep around 6am and in bed until midday!
Alcohol doesn't work for me. As soon as I stop I got back to the previous sleep pattern. I took some strong sleeping tablets here last time I was here which I bought over the counter but can't remember the name or the pharmacy! ????
Set your alarm. Force yourself to get up at 7am and not sleep during the day.
After 3 or 4 days your body clock will be back to normal.
Sleeping pills are not the answer or healthy either. No need for them.

TM30
in Chiang Mai
1 hour ago, CMBob said:When I had to do the update, I was erroneously told to go to the Immigration office at Central Festival to get that done.....and, of course, when I got there, they said "no way, you can only do the TM30 stuff at the back office behind the main Immigration office." But, while there, I did the 90-day report which they handled without any issue (they didn't give a hoot about the TM30 problem).
So....I'd bet a few baht you can do your 90-day at either office and the drive-in deal at the main office would obviously be the fastest; however, to be able to do the online 90-day reports in the future, you're going to need to do the so-called "update" of your TM30 at the office next to the copy joint. Good luck.
Haha
Thanks. I will try the drive through first.
I'll let you know what happens..

TM30
in Chiang Mai
6 minutes ago, CMBob said:It's hit or miss. In last 18 months, I've stayed at hotels elsewhere in Thailand who filed the usual TM 30's for me. Twice there was no issue in continuing to file online 90-day reports but a third time I had the same thing happen to me (online 90-day rejected because of different address on file). I filed my 90-day in person (no issue with that) and afterwards went to the TM30 office (adjacent to copy shop at rear of main Immigration building) and they "updated" the TM30 for me without charge or issue. I took several documents with me but they really didn't care to see any of those when I told them what happened.
Strangely, I've also flown out of the country 3 times in the last 18 months and returned to Thailand and those trips caused no disruption in my ability to file online 90-day reports. Simple reason for that is hotels outside of Thailand don't file TM30's here (i.e., Immigration had to clue I left and returned....although they could have figured it out by the new entry dates I inserted in the online 90-day reports).
Thanks for that info.
Maybe if I do the 90 day form in person at the drive through it will work..or would the officer see on his computer it's already been rejected...and get me into more bother?
The annoying thing is we are leaving the country in 3 weeks time.

TM30
in Chiang Mai
Are they enforcing the TM30 rules again in Chiang Mai Immigration?
We always do new TM30 if we leave and return to the country and our house here in CM.
But it's been OK to go stay at a hotel in the city or other province and then come back to our house without doing a new one.. We used to but the immigration officer actually told us that was not needed.
But this time we had one night away at a hotel and now we have had our 90 day report regected for the reason our last address was at the hotel.
Now are we going to have to pay the fine for not doing a TM30?

I never stated he was a Muslim. Could have been a Christian. Could have been an escaped convict. Could have been anyone who doesn't like trans ideology. They haven't released any details of the killer. Often this happens when their identity is a bit, ummm, awkward shall we say.
If he was a MAGA hat wearing redneck in dungarees, driving a Cadillac Deville draped in the confederate flag I dare say we'd have heard all about it by now.
Either way, whether he was Muslim or not is irrelevant. My point was that if you wish to display a flag that is offensive to millions of people, some of which may be extremists, it's possible that a confrontation will ensue.
What... A flag like the American flag for instance.?

I am surprised that that is something like women's chess.
Playing chess is all about the brain. This would only make sense if women and men would have considerable different IQs. As far as I know that is not the case.
Agree. Seems totally sexist to me.

This makes no sense at all.
I'm for banning fit and strong men from men's sports as they have an advantage over small weaker men lol.

Nothing racist about pointing out the obvious.
Of course there are cases of animal abuse in other countries, but I'd suggest they are the exception
Thai's view of 'pets' is on the whole totally different to most western views
Wrong. Sorry, do some research. See how many dogs and cats un American are destroyed each year due to owners dumping them or not wanting them.
Look at animal hoarding cases too.
It's not unique to Thailand..

So basically the man is too sensitive to be in prison. He got upset on his first day inside and was rushed out as he could not cope.
I would think most people would have high blood pressure and feel stressed on their first day in prison. It's not some happy relaxing holiday resort.
