im waiting for the next 17 page motorcycle review...Couldn't let this topic die without slagging it off one more time, but also offer an alternative.....
I got to sit on a CBR150 today and what a well proportioned bike, infinitely better bike that the really cramped Ms.lav....(presumably standing for single woman's toilet).
So I got to thinking, a "naked bike" should be just that, not like the Yamaha with all that unnecessary plastic strewn all over it in an effort to make it "stylish". Good design means simplicity in my book.
So bearing in mind the CBR150 is a well proportioned, well proven package already at a very modest price, instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, Honda should take this bike, lift the bars up and back, throw away the fairing and other plastic which makes it a CBR and make it truly naked. Only minimally covering vital components and up the tyre size one...proper job.
Now that would be a bike at just over 70k baht.
Give it a trendy name to disassociate it from the troublesome CB range.....
maybe it will be a Ural he got to sit on at the local Big C / Tesco

The benzine 95 vPower from shell cleans my engine while I ride.
Other "lesser" fuels won't do that.

So I replaced a 60w globe for every 1 in 4 led lights. So far no flicker.
The regular 60w dims a lot better than the Dimmable leds.
So it works for now but I'm still on the hunt for suitable dimmer switch

Nope, the agps data doesn't help.

Regarding dummy loads, I had read about this but would the dummy load just increase the power consumption negating the energy saving of the LED lights?
Here is the dimmer
I put standard 60w globes in and no problems with flickering.. [emoji24]

I just installed Lamptan 10w dimmable led bulbs in conjunction with phillips dimmer switches and every now and then the lights flicker.
The dimmer switch is capable 40w-300w.
I have a room with 2 dimmers
1 dimmer x2 lights =20w.
1 dimmer x4 lights =40w.
As far as I understand my load is too low for the dimmers. Even with the 4 bulb its met the minimum but still flickers.
Anyone recommend another dimmer suitable for this set up?
Or is there another fix

For lack of a better term, id say i was Phone GPS enthusiast.
I've been needing to replace my crap phone and following this thread. This is first reference to quality of gps. Navigating Thai roads is critical for a phone for me. Anyone else have any gps experience to report??I bought this phone as a cheap replacement for a broken S5.
Just a warning to anybody thinking about buying this phone, it is a little slow, that's expected from the spec's it has but its still very use able.
The GPS however is hopeless. Forget about a position lock when in your house or car.
GPS toolbox app agps data download doesn't really help.
Bit of a bugger really because other than that the phone could have been a winner.
Currently running Android 6.0

I use my phone on my motorbike with Locus maps with routes created on PC using garmin basecamp program.
This phone will get a gps lock eventually on my motorbike but like i said before it takes more than 5 minutes to get a lock. In the car forget about getting a lock at all. Samsung tablet and S5 Phone get a lock in seconds indoor and out. In side car etc.. flawless.
Unless i got a defective unit, for gps use id recommend choose something else.

any thai iced coffee drink is....undrinkable
I dont know how they can do it.
For anyone who has never tried one its easy to replicate for scientific purposes, get a sugar bowl. add hot water until it forms a paste stir in a shot of coffee and milk and two more tablespoons of sugar for good measure

rented the ferrari a bit longer before buying the corolla
