  1. Ive got a quick fuse.

But! ive decided its just adds an extra element of danger to an already dangerous situation. I take stock of the situation and try to work out how I could have prevented it.

Ive seen a foreigner on a big bike yelling and screaming at a car on sukhumvit Rd and just decided I don't want to be that guy.

Side note, Previous life I used to be a professional driver. 3 trailer Road trains, dangerous goods gas tankers, liquid ammonium nitrate, Acid, Oversize loads with pilot vehicles.

Size doesnt matter even with flashing lights, pilot escort or DG signage plastered all over there's always someone doing something dumb around you.

  2. I don't know about the Kawasaki but I have had a CB650F for about a week now and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Good out on the highway at speed but tame enough to ride around town with no trouble. As the former owner of a Monster, that's another ball game, a lot more exciting out on the road but not good for around town.

What monster did you have?. Care to go a little bit more in depth with your comparison? Is the 650 better for busy city work?

    Thanks ;)

  3. +1

Had new air conditioners installed 6 months ago in two rooms. Both going great until 3 weeks we didnt use because we went away, Came back and one wasnt cooling nearly enough like the other..

All it took was a filter clean and its cold as ice again,

Interestingly it was the inside filter that was chock full of dirt after only 6 months.

  4. It will take years to develop and produce these resources. Right now, energy prices are low but you can't depend on them to stay low forever. Investing in the future of less reliance on imports will strengthen Thailand's economy because industry runs on fuel. Expanding solar and wind in parallel is equally important as Thailand will, most likely, always be a net importer of energy (it buys a lot of hydroelectric electricity from Laos and Cambodia). There are no undeveloped hydroelectric sites left in Thailand. Using the tidal flow on the lower Chao Praya River may, in the future, become economical to develop.

not really years.. we just completed 21 wells in 4 months in the GOT.

Thailand needs these new leases to become available or it will have to increase imports to meet demand.

  5. Medconsult clinic is great. Donna Robinson is british so there are no language barriers and she really cares about her patient. She is very experienced and fair and overall it is always a very positive experience at her clinic.

    Reasonable rates as well

    Hope I could help

    +1 Medconsult.

Cheap as chips as well, I usually go to her for minor ailments, med certs etc..

above racquet club. Google for address

  6. I guess nobody's here has ever seen a wood chipper before. There's no pushing involved. Just feed in the tip and the rest gets sucked in. Likely the same happened here. Hand gets caught and I just pulled his body in. And no its not instantaneous death.. Its inch by inch in you go.

Words cant describe how bad a way to go it would be.

I wonder if the owner will go to court for not having a barrier/guard in place?

  7. My next bike, CBR 650 F.... hmmm.. any suggestions on how to break it to the wifecheesy.gif

Remember... "It is easier to ask forgiveness than permission."

  8. My next bike, CBR 650 F.... hmmm.. any suggestions on how to break it to the wifecheesy.gif

The 650F has such a sweet price compared to most other bikes.. and the after sales service is probably pretty good / cheap too being a locally produced product. You can see the service cost prices on the big wing website.

  9. ^^

Spot on about the reviews and negatives.. Actually even too many positives in a review can be bad too because It just reeks of a "paid for review",

For example if you read just about any ducati scrambler review currently its just sickening how sugar coated they make the review.

But the 650 Honda just gets ripped into by some journalist who is pissed off he didn't get the exotic bike for the day instead of his peer.

Consequently he moans about the suspension and brakes and weight as he drives around " the canyons"
