  1. I clearly said "the owner of the house", I did not mention the renter. So, don't quote my post to promote your narrative. Try to understand what you are reading.

  7. His statement above clearly says that this scheme was designed to proceed this way..., all the controversy, the desperate looking for funds, the legal wrangling - all was well planned and accounted for by the governmental mastermind in charge of the country.
  8. Chimney sweeper Rag man collecting, shouting: Rags, old iron, paper Farmer selling his produce, shouting: potatoes, cabbages Sitting in a hand cart going to the local dairy with Aluminium milk cans Sweeping "your" part of the sidewalk on Saturday morning Shoveling snow at 5am

  10. That's not a neutral stand: Mae Sot town, Myanmar authorities used a chartered plane to fly things, believed to be cash, plus officials from Mae Sot airport to Yangon with Thai government’s permission that's aiding and abetting tyranny

  14. The same operators in the same location multiple times over several years... yes, I can see how that maybe challenging, even , dare I say it, image tarnishing and not to mention a loss of an imaginary face.
  15. While I agree with all the points made in this opinion piece, I feel there is one more point obviously missing: Lack of decisive government action For over a decade every single government whether elected, appointed, military, civilian has failed to take on the "powerful agricultural businesses" who profit from this situation. Why is that? Cowardice, vested interest, laziness, ineptitude, or a combination thereof? Thailand, Tourism, Peoples' Health would all benefit from an independent, thorough and public investigation.
  16. Holy crab! I totally missed that drama...
  17. 15,000 tons of Cadmium in a 1,000 bags inside and let's say (for simplicity's sake) 500 bags outside. 15,000 divided by 1,500 is: 10. One bag holds 10 tons of cadmium. Exactly how stupid does The Thaiger think its readership is? Or considering this snippet from 2022: Most commercial cadmium is obtained as a byproduct of zinc ore refining, though cadmium can also be recovered from recycled materials such as nickel-cadmium batteries and metal scrap. The United States is the world’s primary producer of cadmium, generating an estimated 1,100 tons of the metal per year. It would seem that "a company in Tak" has emerged as the one and only Cadmium Super Hub!
  18. I have some choice adjectives to describe your party more accurately...
  19. Ikea frigate? Where the heck is the bloody thing..., oh there it is! Instructions make no sense!
  20. SleeplessBKK, ahead of its time...
  21. Actually, as it turned out, she was sitting on public property. The owner of the house had encroached on the beach building the steps there. Those steps were then demolished. So legally, as a Thai citizen, she was sitting on her property and got kicked by the Swiss man...
  22. In my opinion, the biggest threat to democracy are those dynastic political families who divvy up power among themselves, and the name "Kennedy" rings a bell.
