This is at a Dolphin Park. My goal was to make it look like a nature shot. Use of landscape orientation gives me lots of space to work.
First come the tools:
- rotate to straighten the horizon. - crop the crap, and in so doing make it a tight portrait. - clone stamp to get rid of all the artificial stuff, also take care of their reflections and shadows. - healing brush to get rid of patterns introduced by clone stamp and minor blemishes.
Now comes the filters"
- tonal contrast to put the drama in, tweak it! - a bit of warmth to balance the cold. - sharpen, not too little, not too much, just right. - denoise, if you have to, but without extra sharpening.
finished.
...ahm, save the bugger!

Taking pictures is fun, until your feet hurt...then you sit down in front of the computer, trying to improve nature.
So, this threat is about what happens after you pressed the shutter release button. Before and after pix with explanation would be nice..., thanks.

"Pattaya police have set guidelines relating to the issue including establishing a settlement room"
just wondering if they encroached on public land to establish said room

Two shots. Same location, different tones.
Traditional street photography
This is has more colors, larger crop and different feeling. Yet, kind of creepy.
Which one do you prefer and most importantly, why? I wish to understand what other people look in pictures. Why something catches the eye and some not?
That one is much more sinister to me, b&w goes very well with his facial expression...is he hiding a body behind them squid?

He is a simpleton who held an important office. He filed the case with the wrong court. Case closed. Shrugging won't help.

The first and admittedly most difficult and complicated target is the Thai police. If they can be reinvented from top to bottom with independent oversight agencies in place (Internal Affaires), then the job to curb systematic corruption by other officials and the private sector will be much easier, since the protection from prosecution bought from the police will have dwindled. In tandem with police overhaul should be the long overdue toughening of punishment and fines (no more inactive posts) together with the rectifying of certain laws holding the process back (defamation/libel, etc.).
