I assure you Buddhism is a religion. I am not a Buddhist but have studied it intensively in the past - retreats in Darmasala (meeting the Dalai Lama and other high lama) and Sarnath(where Buddha gave his first sermon in India. Many retreats in Thailand including Suan Mohk in Chaiya, Surathani. My wife is a Buddhist so I have been to many temples and talked with hundreds of monks over my 2 decades living here.

What are your credentials to make such a inane remark? Apart from being a member on Thai Visa for a week that is.
