All the comments I have seen about Thaksin are from underlings, never from the guy actually in charge...

    Interesting how the Corrections Dept. may determine whether a criminal convicted in Thailand can "take up a political role". Not the Justice Dept., the Supreme Court, the Election Committee... To be fair, "a political role" could be an advisor or an office holder, but they are not being specific for a reason.

    44 children at let's say 35kg = 1,540kg + the weight of 2 adults (picture) at 70kg each total of 1,680kg. That's over a ton and half of extra weight for the bridge cable to carry repeatedly. Maybe outside the tolerances?
