I had this same package installed a month ago, and have had nothing but trouble with it. Since they installed it, it takes at least an hour, sometimes 2, before i get any signal on my tv. The so called hi speed internet is actually slower than the one I had with TOT. I was originally paying 1,900 baht a month for my TV service, I now pay 2,500 baht for the new package, which was supposed to include my landline telephone, as well as i think 200 minutes free calls a month on my mobile (they gave me my new sim, on the day they installed everything). But low and behold I recieved a bill from a company called CAT, for the monthly rental of my new landline number, and a bill for 2 calls made on the landline. My wife has been calling them everyday for the last 2 weeks to get someone to come out and repair the connection, but all we get is "we check for you, and will call back" but so far no call back. So yesterday she informed them that we won't be paying the bill, and want it all taken out, so we now wait to see what happens.

He was a prolific poster on here, but suddenly he has disappeared. Last time I heard from him, he was having a spat with someone about Peppers Bakery in Ubon. He was challenged to a "Handbags at Dawn", and that was the last I heard from him. Anyone know more?.

Did anyone hear about a farang commiting suicide in surin yesterday, I hear he jumped ( or was pushed ) from a hotel balcony. Word was that he was flashing the cash about. As i say I was only told about it, so don't know how true it is.

I was in Tops surin yesterday, they were advertising the joints, but only had one whole turkey in stock. they gave me their telephone number and asked me to call next week to see if more stock had arrived, so that they could save me one.

Just slightly off topic, but worth mentioning. It seems that at last the British goverment is getting it's arse into gear. They have summoned the Thai Charge D'affairs diplomat to the Foreign Office, so they can express their concerns about how the investigation int o the murdres of David and Hannah are being conducted.

joe black sorry mate you are 100% wrong. the first 2 samples were supposed to have been from the 2 burmese guys. the third sample as stated by the pathologist was from an unknown subject. stop trying to apologise for the rtp. I don't know if you have followed this case from the start. if you have then your thinking is all wrong. i am sure that most people on this thread will put you right as too who the dna belongs to. but one thing is certain as stated by the police only these 2 guys are guilty, as for the 3rd dna we are too ****g lazy to investigate. About 4 days ago the thai pathologist in a television interview said that a 3rd persons dna had been found on hannahs body. Yet nowhere in anything the police have said did they mention that they were looking for a 3rd person, could you speculate why that may be. perhaps the 3rd person is someone they already know, but are not willing to charge. we await your reply with baited breath

But as far as i know the police have made no attempt to find out who the 3rd person may be. In fact as the police chief said No need for anymore investigations perfect job done case closed. Trainman the worlds press have been going at this for the last 3 or 4 days now. the only place that has not been pressing it strangely enough is the bbcworldnews website.maybe under orders from spineless cameron not to say anything. They will probaly delay the trial for a few months until everything has died down, then quietly find them guilty execute them job done. Or of course there is the very great possibility these 2 will commit "assisted suicide" in the next couple of days and as i have previously stated the rtp will use the prison governor as a scapegoat, saying he was negligent in not taking good care of these guys, and that the rtp have been robbed of the chance of showing that these 2 were guilty and that they were 100% right all along. wouldn't surprise me if they found two suicide notes confessing everything as well.

And then the prison governor will be retired with a huge pay-off and a monthly pension to the value of 20 times his annual salary. am i being cynical?
