jtj everyone on here knows that you like to make statements praising your beloved rtp, but we all also know that you never abswer questions that may prove that they are not doing their job properly or honestly. so heres another one for you. About 4 days ago the thai pathologist in a television interview said that a 3rd persons dna had been found on hannahs body. Yet nowhere in anything the police have said did they mention that they were looking for a 3rd person, could you speculate why that may be. perhaps the 3rd person is someone they already know, but are not willing to charge. we await your reply with baited breath

adamtwilley you say "uk police will know if there is a cover up, if they find more than two sorts of dna on hannahs body". Hate to p**s on your parade mate, but on channel 3 television a few mornings ago the thai pathologists said they found 3 sorts of dna on hannahs body. But as far as i know the police have made no attempt to find out who the 3rd person may be. In fact as the police chief said No need for anymore investigations perfect job done case closed. It couldn't be that the 3rd person could be a son of a certain mafia person could it.

Trainman the worlds press have been going at this for the last 3 or 4 days now. the only place that has not been pressing it strangely enough is the bbcworldnews website.maybe under orders from spineless cameron not to say anything. At the end of the day the thai goverment and the rtp don't really give a flying <deleted> what the rest of the world think.
They will probaly delay the trial for a few months until everything has died down, then quietly find them guilty execute them job done. Or of course there is the very great possibility these 2 will commit "assisted suicide" in the next couple of days and as i have previously stated the rtp will use the prison governor as a scapegoat, saying he was negligent in not taking good care of these guys, and that the rtp have been robbed of the chance of showing that these 2 were guilty and that they were 100% right all along. wouldn't surprise me if they found two suicide notes confessing everything as well.
And then the prison governor will be retired with a huge pay-off and a monthly pension to the value of 20 times his annual salary. am i being cynical?

lildragon, have you not noticed that when any topic comes up that really casts doubt on the rtp's honesty, jtj, siconsteve, stuttering parrot and a few new ones who only joined thai visa a few days ago, including the undercover dectective that worked for the rtp, sorry can't remember his name cos as soon as he got a bit of stick he had to go on his next undercover mission to infiltrate the muppets, they all disappear. But just wait when the police make their next statement that gives them a glimmer of hope they will be trolling in droves.

no need to cremate them, they mysteriously burned to death in their cells after their friends smuggles a gallon can of gasoline and a box of matches into the prison. When questioned prison guards said we searched all the visitors but they must have hidden the can of gasoline up someones arse.

The Myanmar goverment are probably being promised massive investment in their country by the thai pm today, only one proviso, you do not raise any doubts about the guilt of the 2 ALIEN workers who have already been convicted of murder(even though there has not been a trial and all the evidence is dodgy), not only not raise any doubts nut publicly state that you have seen all the evidence are you are positive that they are both guilty. Money talks in any language. And make no mistake prayuth is as bent as all the ones that have gone before him

I think the reason they didn't hitail it off the island was because they knew they had not done anything wrong, and this was proved because they were among the 300 burmese people tested for dna on the first day, and the police stated that no match was found amongst these 300. So why would they run, but suddenly they are re-tested, not the other 297 by the way, only these 3, and hey presto a mtch is found, anything sound suspicious to you.

all of a sudden clutchclark is worried about these 2 young men. Is he afraid that all the so called conspiracy theorists may be right.

Very curious these 3 witnesses have already said that they were tortured by the police ( scalding water poured on their feet) to make them implicate the 2 burmese boys. But they refused to do so and were eventually released. They showed their injuries to the myanmar ambassador. So are the rtp saying that they now have suddenly found 3 new witnesses.

One thing i find strange here is that during the last few days that this case has attracted so much attention by news agencies all around the world, one website has not reprted anything on this case for at least a week. and that is the bbc worldnews site. I would have thought that they would be crawling all over this story but no, not a single word for at least a week. have they been instructed by maybe a spineless goverment in GB not to say anything. Because lets face it the British goverment and the british embassy in bangkok have not made any effort to ask serious probing questions.

One simple solution, put them in solitary confinement, take away anything that they can hang themselves with or choke them selves with, if neccesary strip them naked. monitor all their meals so they can't do anything whatsoever to harm themselves. the only way they could then commit suicide is if they continually ran head first into the walls of the cell, and that is ver doubful they could do that.................Oh but wait did i not hear of a murder suspect doing that once before in a thai prison cell. Sorry how stupid of me.

ok so let me just think about this for a minute. These guys have been in custody for maybe 10 days or so. Not once has the prison chief expressed any worries about their safety, that was of course was before they were granted access to lawyers, and had supposedly pleaded guilty. But now after they have seen lawyers and recanted their confessions all of a sudden he is worried they may commit suicide. I would think they are less inclined to commit suicide now than they were 2 days ago.
And his statement should have read " I have instructed other inmates to make sure these two are dead in the next few days"
The RTP will never admit they are wrong too much arrogance and taking care of the hiso for that. But they have now found another patsy, ie the prison chief to take the fall for them, if these 2 die in custody. Can see the headlines now, the day after they are found dead in prison.
TWO BURMESE SUSPECTED OF MURDER FOUND DEAD IN PRISON CELLS. Police chief says " The prison governor did not do enough to protect these prisoners, we were 100% certain they were guilty, but now we don't have the chance to prove to all the doubters all over the world that we got it right.
By the way we will not be at anytime sending our condolensces to the families of the deceased, because we are to busy collecting all the brown envolopes from the scumbags that we have been protecting, and also making sure that tourism is soon booming on koh tao again, so that we don't lose any of our income from bribes that are (LEGALLY) paid to us. No more comments case closed we did a fabulous job solving this crime.

clutchclark, i think the accusations about scalding weren't made by the 2 suspects . they were made by 3 other burmese people that said police tried to force them to implicate the 2 boys in the murder, and when they refused they were scalded. i believe that pictures were taken of the three but sorry i don't have any links. as for pics of the boys scald marks being taken, this is the first i have heard of this.

I think jlcrab lives in isaan, you can catch him trolling on the tv isaan forum a lot. The rtp have the problem that in the past they have never really been known for their honesty and integrity, and this is now really biting them in the arse. How could they think that a case that has so many inconsistencies could be wrapped up so quickly. What they didn't expect was the prosecutors would send this case back to them, with the demand to find more solid evidence, we know that because of the chief of police statement " we are sure we have the real culprits, no more investigating needed, case closed".
I know i may be repeating myself, buts lets look at the more glaring errors in the police evidence.
1 the two culprits were dna tested on the first day, they were pictured among the 300 burmese workers tested. The police stated as saying there were no dna matches in those 300 people.
2 They were supposed to have said they hit david with the blunt side of the hoe, his wounds say different, he was obviously killed by a knife, his wounds were completely different to Hannah's.
3. They supposedly told police that they killed them because they saw david and hannah having sex on the beach and were jealous, and even the police said there is no evidence that david and hannah had sex, the next day the police changed that staement to read, They admitted killing them because they saw david and hannah kissing on the beach, and yet no dna from david was found on hannah and visa verca.
4 Police stated that davids dna was not found on the hoe.so that makes the burmese guys statement totally false, one wonders why the police accepted their confessions.
5 If we are to believe police statements regarding mobile phones it would seem that david had 3 phones. They originally said that davids phone was found at the murder scene bloodstained and with a blonde hair stuck to it, but this was a phone he must have bought in thailand, because the i phone he brought with him was blocked in thailand. They also stated that the i phone was found in davids luggage. So where did the phone the police claimed belonged to david that was found behind the burmese guys room come from. Surely if the phone found behind their room was touched by them, it would contain not only their fingerprints but davids also, but they have not given any evidence to prove yeah or nay.
6 Why have the police not given an explanation as to why the mafia godfather and his family were not dna tested, and i don't buy this abusing their human rights thing, because i am pretty sure in a case as serious as this they could be ordered by a judge to give dna.
7 What happened to the 2 minutes of footage removed from the cctv film.
8 On television 3 days ago a police pathologist said that there was a 3rd persons dna found on hannahs body, it was not davids or any of the 300 burmese tested, so why are the police not searching for a 3rd person and still insisting the 2 burmese guys were the only ones involved.
9 The police's star witness has now recanted his statement accusing his friends of being involved, a statement he says he gave due to threats made by the police. So who will they now produce in court.
I think that is enough for now. It will be interesting to see what the good general tells his myanmar counterparts today, and will the general make false statements saying the burmese goverment are happy with the thai handling of the case, as did the police yesterday, only to be shot down in flames by the burmese officials.
The sad thing about this is that i am sure that everyone on thai visa, be it we so called theory conspirators, or our opposition who i amongst others have labelled
thai police arse lickers, only want the truth to come out and whoever commited this horrendous crime to be caught. If these burmese guys are proven to be innocent, i fear we will never know who did it, because money talks, and i am sure many brown envolopes have changed hands.

The human rights lawyer did say yesterday that they had recanted their statements, unfortunately i don't have the link, but it was on one of the thai visa reports . and remember this guy who is saying they admitted they did it, is a thai, not saying he is lying but he may be saying what he has been told to say by someone higher up.

Well all i'm asking you is a simple question how could they recant their statements if they had no legal representation. Please answer POOR BOY.

Clutchclark, so tell me who were they supposed to recant their statements to before, if the thai police neither asked them if they wanted lawyers nor offered the lawyers. you really should think before you keep rushing in to defend your RTP glory boys.

statement by the police chief a few days ago " we are sure we have got the right culprits no need to investigate further case closed" oops. another thought why are the police not trying to find the third person who's dna was found on hannahs body, could it be they already know who he is, but have already recieved the brown envelope not to disclose his name.

It seems things really are falling apart. I have just read that the prosecutors have returned the 800plus page charge sheets to the police, telling them to get more solid evidence. But they have not set the police a time frame to do it.

jtj one other thing why didn't the police make public that these two guys said they hit david with the blunt side of the hoe, maybe because it would screw up their frame up
-
jtj what the police didn't expect was that someone was going to supply independant lawyers for these guys. they told the lawyers that they hit david with the blunt side of the hoe. do you think that the police told these guys which side of the hoe they used in advance of the interrogation. you still haven't answered why davids dna wasn't found on the hoe. but there again you never answer any questions that screw up your theory.

joe black sorry mate you are 100% wrong. the first 2 samples were supposed to have been from the 2 burmese guys. the third sample as stated by the pathologist was from an unknown subject. stop trying to apologise for the rtp. I don't know if you have followed this case from the start. if you have then your thinking is all wrong. i am sure that most people on this thread will put you right as too who the dna belongs to. but one thing is certain as stated by the police only these 2 guys are guilty, as for the 3rd dna we are too ****g lazy to investigate. No sorry we know who it belongs too, but we have been paid a million baht not to say anything. as the police of chief said " perfect job, cased closed'.
