I think people should be made aware of her movements
authorities in Thailand should be retracing exactly what she did when and where
contact tracing is very crucial. unfortunately it will not be easy as the tourist would have visited many places in thailand.

The Chinese government is lying big scale.
Trust those medical certificates, trust the Chinese, you will see how you end.
Now it's just another 10 -14 days left and you will see and understand, hopefully.
hope not but the possibility does exist.

showing medical certificates, however genuine, will not solve any problem. in fact it give false sense of relief. due to the incubation period of the corona virus carriers may not show physical symptoms at the time of the medical examination. such carriers may show symptoms while they are in thailand and possibly infect others, being in comfort that they have a clear medical exam.

“In the meeting, the minister of Tourism and Sports also disagreed with the proposal, because it might hurt the feeling of Chinese tourists and the country’s tourism in the long term”.
"Best quote ever", said The Grim Reaper.
it has nothing to do with sentiments but a question of the health welfare of the thais that should be prime consideration.

Sure this guy wont be happy until the carts are in the street collecting the dead and a man in a plague mask painting large 'X's' on doors
surely the scenario is not that dreadful at this point in time.

so pass the responsibility on to China ?
how stupid is that
How about Thailand owning responsibility for its own citizens and borders
no one can determine the risk exposure as carriers may not show symptoms during the incubation period og 14 days.

"Considering"? That sounds a little strong. Let's organise an action committee and hold a series of meetings.
act immediately. my suggestion is to have meetings later. follow some other country model for protection procedures.

I have a prediction:
Many people living in Thailand and Thai citizens have chosen to stay indoors as much as possible until this situation is under control (from what I hear).
That may cause boredom.
I predict in about 9 to 11 months from now, there will be a baby boom of both Thai/Thai and Thai/farang babies. ????
lol. you may be right.

A bit late to "consider" this now, yes? The damage has been done already.
My 2¢
still better late than never.

Meanwhile, you pansies are still faffing about, hanging on to the tourism money and arrivals and putting everyone in Thailand in potential danger.
better to bite the bullet early. the costs are much higher later on.

just like WHO that failed to act at the time of outbreak.

this should have been done long time ago as carriers may not show symptoms or be detected by thermal scanners at the time of arrival.

did not the pm say that thailand was completely safe for tourists.
