  1. bjoe97-

So now you're changing your tune and saying it's not "real" ice.

If you are going to promote a drug as "one of the safest" then perhaps you should also mention that this "safe" variety of ice is not available in Thailand earlier than in a reply, to a reply, to a reply.

Secondly, your postulation that users don't know how to "properly" use it and it is somehow this ignorance on their part which makes the drug dangerous rather than the drug itself is suspicious at best. The dealers I have come across in my life have not handed out instruction manuals on safe use for their products- but again, thoughtful and considerate drug pushers who ensure their product is "the safe version" and hand out "proper use" tips'n'tricks pamphlets with each delivery may be a real part of whatever planet you live on. I only wish I was living there.

  2. I've been thinking the same thing, my largest single deposit of any currency is in sterling in the UK and I am really completely undecided as to whether to act or not. I will probably have to act now or leave it for years. Been wishing recently I had studied financial things at school.

  3. ice is the worst of them all - you should say your goodbyes or prepare for a long and heart wrenching series of events which have a very slim chance of working out for your good.

ice actually is one of the safest of all drugs-its cause not physcial dependance, only psychological

i have friends who have been on it all their life's-living quite happily

    [...]

I have "friends" who have been on it all their lives too, but clearly you live on a different planet where ice is a magical drug which causes no harm and just lets you work harder. Aren't you lucky.

  4. Thanks. What's your fav apps so far? I use iBearMoney on the iphone and find it very useful for finances both personal and business. I havent checked yet if they have one for ipad.

  5. "Users connected to file shares on the PC will not show up under TaskManager/Users."

No they won't (as I mention that only shows "real" users) but they will cause that msg to appear.

He doesn't need any help, it's a non issue. I've seen it a million times. The chances of it being something to worry about are minuscule. Ergo any post reply saying its a problem is all but certainly "wrong" and misleading. I'm correct- which differs slightly to arrogance (except in the minds of the incorrect affected hordes).

  6. windows considers any connection to itself as a "logged in user". Many software bundles actually "log in" to your system when they are opened. This can even include antivirus. Click task manager then click users to see which real users are logged in. I bet you find youre the only one, and you still get this msg. Pretty much all the replies in this thread are wrong.

  7. Worked for me OK using english bank account + the english address that is registered under. Surely you didnt tell your English bank you live in Thailand?

Nadz project in Bangkok (google nadzproject) might be able to deliver to you- for a small postal fee. Ask them.

Or use a mates thai card and pay him..

p.s. since when is any ps3 game regioned (amazon "wrong region" ?)

  8. You cared so little you thought .rpm files were relevant.

Please go back to windows- you deserve it.

Meanwhile I will continue to run ubuntu on the java coders' workstations in our offices.

  9. It should say something that my thai male friends enjoy songkran in bangkok specifically and only because its the one time of the year they can freely grope multiple women in broad daylight. They make no secret of their reasons for enjoying the holiday.

  10. Didn't this all start because nikster tried to install an .rpm version of java rather than a .deb on Ubuntu, and then over-reacted?

Yes. One wonders where the real joke lies.
