Of course the other great advantage for me, I usually fly Emirates or Etihad, is the limo service at Heathrow to my house in London, included in the BC fare.
And I usually need it after celebrating *not* having to share my space with obese ignorant people, and badly behaved sprogs,
-
I always fly business class *if* the flight is going to be more than 4 hours.
You don't have to squeeze into your seat next to an obese disgusting sweating smelly passenger inches away from you.
And you don't have to listen to the babies/brats that stupid selfish people take onto planes to annoy everyone else.

You failed to identify your router (Make, Model)
But with many routers you could use your browser to access the IP address for the router and do a restart to accomplish the same thing.
You might be able to re-boot the router remotely, but if you switch it off, you will be unable to communicate with it to turn it back on again remotely!

I just bought a 50 inch Panasonic plasma 3D in London.
I was told by the salesman that the 2 best makers are Panasonic and Samsung.
A friend bought a Lada not so long ago and the salesman told him that Lada is one of the best cars on the market.
The OP wanted an independent view, I gave an expert's opinion from a retailer that deals in pretty much all the TV manufacturers.
He didn't ask about the opinion of a Lada dealership salesperson.

And I apologize for 'rodentwarrior's comment; some people just don't seem to know how to be kind and helpful.
Sorry, I thought I was being helpful. Email always gets through no problem.

Use email! Fax is so old fashioned. Get with the times.

"I would have thought the Europeans would be somewhat responsible in regard to overspending and borrowing. I'm unpleasantly surprised that the good folks of the EU are doing what Americans and many others have been doing for decades, both within their households, and on a government level: Spending waaaaaay beyond their means. It's like the head of a family paying for everything, including day trading, with credit cards, while his income is fixed or lessening."
Oh dear, you don't know much about the financial mismanagement that goes on in the European Union. They are a bunch of gravy train riders who have no clue about budget balancing. Most EU governments are coalition socialists (pseudo communists) whose only interest is re-election so they can keep their noses at the trough.
I am surprised you thought otherwise. Despite the fact that we have a much longer history than the USA, we have more than our share of dimwits.

As for using IE - get over it....use google chrome.

Windows 7 is the best OS that m$ have brought out so far. XP is now on it's 1000 days countdown to non-support. Once that happens it will be vulnerable to Virus.
I have used all the windows versions. 95 and Millenium were the worst. 98, 2000 and XP were all good, win7 is the best so far. In my humble opinion.
Get used to win7, you wouldn't put up with a 20 year old car...........or maybe you would?

I went to Bohol, a beautiful island in the Philippines, where they think alcohol bans are the work of the Devil.
I am still in Bohol.
I agree.

i agree, what an outrageous accusation. Every person knows that there are no "working girls" working at bars in Pattaya. Somebody needs to apologize to the girls. I volunteer to do a thorough investigation to reach the truth of the matter (but it may take me a while to complete the investigative work).
What will your budget be?

I absolutely agree with you Joe. And I know this is not really the right time, but this clearly shows - yet again - how vitally important it is to have proper health insurance.
When it comes to your health, you have nothing else to lose.

Why don't you just apply for a Non Immigrant 'O' Visa ?
It can be issued by any Thai Consulate outside Thailand. You need to be out of Thailand at the time too, Maybe on a trip to Holland.
You get 12 months from date of issue to use it. Everytime you enter the Kingdom you get a 90 day stamp. Then cross any border and get another 90 day stamp. It costs just over 100 Euros it's £100 in England.
You can get upto 15 months from this Visa if you make one of your border runs just before it expires.
Because you have to have a valid reason for a non-O visa. Visiting friends is no longer a valid reason.
I just got my new 'O' Visa from the Hull consulate. I had to provide proof of income over £900 a month. But I think this only applies if you are over 50.

The first gay bar I went into was the basement bar of the Moreville Hotel (it's a straight place now so better I don't say where).
It was very old style, with pics of old time gay movie stars like Charles Laughton.
I was about 15.

Bring £50's, I always do, and then change at Super rich for a slightly better exchange rate. It might not be much better, but it's better than £20 notes.

I need to go to the UK and Thai were asking around 53,000 per person, the company I work with
got prices of 35,000baht, and this is flying this Tuesday. However, I still prefer Qatar, Eva or Egypt for prices. Also Etihad hava a deal running for around 27,000per person, but am on a waiting list for that.
Beano, my friend who is visiting me soon, got a return flight with Emirates for a bit less than £500 inclusive. The flight deals are better in UK than Thailand, and it is possible to get a BKK/LHR/BKK ticket from some UK agents. I use Southall Travel based in Hounslow.

I use proper 'legend' airlines like Emirates, Singapore, Etihad and Cathay.
I feel sorry for those of you that think Thai is in anyway a good airline. Try a proper airline and the difference is astounding.
Some friends tell me that they fly Thai because the Thailand holiday experience starts when you get on the plane!
There speaks a voice of inexperience The Etihad and Emirates (except A380) experience in economy is terrible, and on Emirates the business experience is so hit and miss I don't bother with them any more. I really don't understand the bashing of Thai, look at Skytrax and read the reviews on there see what others think. yes some of Thais fleet is getting a little old and no they don't match SQ or CX but there are far worse out there. I really hope you are not an American because don't get me started on American airlines.
Inexperienced flyer? Hmm I have been flying very regularly for more than 30 years. I fly (long haul only) in Business class, and I have never had a negative experience (so far). I am a British Citizen. I have no experience of US airlines.

If you want to know old ugly hosties (and with attitude) try flying Qantas or BA. Thai is an absolute dream compared to those two.
Because their 'rights' are Union protected. The airlines have to keep employing these altitude skywaiters because they can't break the badly constructed contracts.

I have literally just got my new 'O' visa from Hull. All they required was my bank statements showing that I earn more than £900 a month.
However I am over 50 and retired, so maybe not useful.
-
50 or over I guess? Just speculation, nothing else.
Yes you are right, I should have mentioned that as well!
It's still a fast service by any measure.
-
I posted my application form for the multiple entry type 'O' Visa, including passport, and bank statement (proving I take home more than £900 a month) on Wednesday morning.
I got my stamped passport back this morning, Friday.
Amazing!

A great shame that parents in this Country don't have the children they can afford, but instead concentrate on having as many as they can, so that the kids will then send them money when they get old.
Personally I think that since we stopped shoving children up chimneys, that signalled the end of the Great British Empire.
I had summer jobs when I was a young teenager, it seems to me an essential part of a child's education.
