  1. Never even thought about it. I'm more concerned about having two cars with the turn signal stalks on opposite sides. Agh!
  2. On a recent 351km trip in my AWD I got a much better range than you, but it was because of my lower average speed. I travelled 351 km and used 64% . Extrapolated, that's a total range of 548km. My speed was mostly between 80 and 90 kph, normal mode (some sport), iTAC on. Two people onboard, and quite a lot of luggage. As for the temperature, what do you think?
  3. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/28/xiaomi-releases-electric-car-4k-cheaper-than-teslas-model-3-as-price-wars-heat-up.html “Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said the standard version of the SU7 will sell for 215,900 yuan in the China — a price he acknowledged would mean the company was selling each car at a loss. Tesla’s Model 3 starts at 245,900 yuan in China.”
  4. In case it wasn't clear, I was asking if the "free" stuff is still included at the new lower price of the car.
  5. Do you know what "free" stuff is included?

  7. Do you realize this is old news? The article was published in January 2023. And the comments below it are predictably, hilariously imbecilic.
  8. Ha! You seem to have a problem with your mathematics. 2000 X 100 = $200,000. He'd only need to carry 200 bills. Of course, you're gonna tell us now it was a typo. Sure!
  9. For the sake of my sanity, would it be possible for AN to instigate an IQ test that members would be required to pass before posting?
  10. Yes, a little red dot on your big screen. They seem to have forgotten about you. I think you should have a word with your dealership.
  11. I'll have to go back to the loose gravel slope I was on. Unfortunately it's about 300km from where I live!
  12. Hopefully they can fix it with an OTA update. I don't know why they didn't explain more clearly in the second video how, and how long it took, to fix the error.
  13. See the second video after the ashen-faced Chinese BYD technician fixed the car. Doesn't appear to need high power for the AWD to work.
  14. If you watch the videos (they're very short) and read the comments, it would appear the AWD cars are not AWD. BYD have been made aware of this and are going to rectify. Sounds crazy but it looks like it's true!
  15. A couple of weeks ago, I found myself in my AWD Seal on a steep gradient with very loose gravel/stones. I was very disappointed; I was not getting the traction I would have expected in an AWD vehicle. These two short videos may explain why. What a joke! Part 1: https://youtu.be/eENx7rscQ80?si=oH5LLEydTLHCPZNC Part 2: https://youtu.be/1-tDRGLbTrA?si=Xq5e9iMbxIO5lJGe
  16. Seat memories. An option to turn on the 3 original, extremely loud, pedestrian warning sounds. I am sure there are more but I can't think of them at the moment.
  17. Sorry, I was trying to be funny! I need to check what my PM2.5 reading is. May not be driving the Seal for a few days.
  18. What with your car skittering all over the road and now this latest issue, sounds to me like you've got a lemon, JB.
  19. No problems with the floor mats. Have never had it at 150km/h. So far, I have charged following the instructions in the manual. I intend to continue doing so.
  20. I'm very surprised to hear this. I have not experienced losing traction in my car on a dry road and I regularly floor it in sport mode. I find the car surprisingly stable. I haven't experimented on a wet road; I guess there would be wheel spin. As for the stuttering, I think I have only experienced that twice in nearly five months.
  21. Now look what you’ve done announcing that MG have just launched a 100th Anniversary Special Edition ZS EV! It will give Transman the opportunity to reignite his one-man crusade, the purpose of which is remind us all about 1924, Morris Garages, performance rides, heritage, Union Jack flags on the boot/trunk door and the sacred British iconic MG name - and how we've all been duped by those devious, crafty Chinese into believing MG is still a British company. A worthy cause indeed and I, for one, wish him all the success he deserves for his endeavours. He's earned it. I’ve already written to my member of parliament in the UK and I encourage all true Brits to do the same!
