  1. I looked at their website already, but can't find anything about that.

And I think they would ask more than 10,000.

You need to call them. The GTOs were about 10.000b.

    Call Pariya 089 201 8147

    sent from my ..................#

Been trying to call that number for two days now, but nobody answers.

I not think that number still works, you better try the office 02-3880868 (let somebody who speaks Thai call first, and let him/her ask for somebody who can speak English... works like a charm)

And again you are wrong, the number worked perfectly fine and the guy (Thai guy) spoke very good English.

  2. Here a picture which we obtained from a photographer who does work for Honda Thailand now-and-then... The original picture shows that it's marked as a Honda CB300R.

The picture is likely a fake, while the machine is actually real - it's doubtful that it'll be introduced in Thailand or that it's manufactured in Thailand

I hope the 500 looks like that too, then it's a definite buy for me.

  3. Not so long ago I saw Tiger Motor Co. Ltd (who made the Kawasaki GTO) to sell a few referbished Kawasaki GTO's ...Maybe they have still a some...

  4. man, gto is for porters and carrying gas cylinders here in Bangkok, are you sure?

As you will be count as one of them on the roads:)

My previous bike here in BKK was a GTO. Very thrustworthy bike and took my on lots of trips around Thailand.

I did not ask for any opinions on the bike, I asked for leads to buy a decent one for about 10,000 baht. Maybe I do want to start my own courier service. Remember, GTO stands for Gas Transfer Only. And don't worry about my pillion, I got my other bike for that, the bike people do like to see on group rides.

  5. You guys are a funny bunch, believing everything you read in the papers and venting your own ideas and opinions about a fact you have no clue about.

My girlfriend's brother is actually based at this camp.

Yes, the guns went missing, but shortly after this they caught the culprits and recovered everything.

No reds, yellows, blues or greens involved.

First you should all get some facts before posting.

  6. Let me elaborate little better on the amount of donation.

When one goes to temple and wants to be blessed by a monk(water splash and a small pray), one must bring a basket(donation) the cheapest one is 100 baht. This blessing takes approx 30-45 seconds and one first gives the donation.

So if for 1 min the donation is 100 baht, for an hour donation would be around 600+

Angelina Jolie paid around 10 000 baht for her tattoo, right now if you want same from the same guy it will cost 30 000.

But this is commercial price, so for donation for same size tattoo from a monk the correct amount would be 2000-3000

Now this is a load of nonsense.

I paid 600 baht for my first one, and that was actually too much.

For my second one I paid 400 baht, I gave them a 500 baht note and they gave me 100 change.

I refused the change, but they really wanted me to have it, so i took it back.

And yes, they are of really good quality.

First one took 1,5 hours, second one took 1 hour.

    My 2 cents (or satang)

  7. This made me laugh very hard, thanks for bringing light to a lazy Sunday biggrin.gif

Once open every 33 years and you just happened to be there on that day, poor tourists that came a day later, they missed it, have to wait another 33 biggrin.gif

Also what you hear a lot is the "special Buddha day". Only today, special price, just go back the next day and, surprise surprise, it is a "special Buddha day" again.

Just keep your wits about you, don't fall for these "subtle" scams.

In your home country, would you ever play the game with one ball hiding under one of three cups? I guess you won't, then don't do it here too.

I wish I was born a scammer and travelled to Thailand, I would be so rich by now biggrin.gif

Some people really leave their brain at home when they go on a holiday.

So have a nice "special Buddha day" everyone.
