  1. It seems muslims find everything un-islamic except senseless murder of decent people.
Even for the most fanatic ones, this isn't entirely true. And then, fanatic Christians have caused unimaginable bloodshed and atrocities over the years, even nowadays they still condemn non-believers and wage war against 'evil'. :o:D :D

My avatar is a photo I took on the temple grounds of Wat Suthat, and seems to fit my grumpy mocking tendencies. :D

  2. Another csam is that the meter may be already on when you enter the cab, i.e. the first 2 kms you'd get for the 35 Bht starting price have been used up already.

I gladly leave a tip, but I resent attempts to be taken advantage of. When I notice they don't turn on the meter, I will only mention it after they drove some distance, and make it clear that I will either pay the metered amount or leave, already well on the way to my destination. This discourages the practise, they'll think about it next time. :o

  3. I'd be more inclined to ask someone who got away with it. Someone banged up is not likely to be a font of knowlege
How many such people do you know? From someone who got caught you can find out how not to do it, this also is valuable info. :o:D
  4. Thailand will become more and more overrun with Westerners and Chinese... and it will improve dramatically economy-wise. But it's future will depend on the outcome of the war.

As G. W. Bush said, "This is a different kind of war."

    ....

Let's hope that Thailand is around in 30 years... I doubt it will be... not as we know it.

I think so too, the US and China will seek more influence in the political as well as economic arena, China is yet to assert its full fledged influence as a world power, but it has a clear advantage in this world region.

  5. However, until the Muslims achieve their ultimate goal, Thailand will be a relatively safe location

    ....

The number of Caucasian/Western men coming to Thailand will increase greatly.  They (we) are being driven out of our home countries by the combined spread of  feminism and multi-culturalism.

    ...

Finally, the social and legal attacks on Caucasian/Western men which are escalating in the Western countries, will gradually envelope Thailand.  The UN and NGO organizations will come in with "programs" which are  to benefit "women and girls", or to "fight AIDS" or to "prevent human trafficking" or to reduce "domestic violence".

    ---

Yet, Thailand is the best option I've found for long-term living.  I wish it were possible to build a wall all around the Kingdom, and keep outside influences out.  Certainly, I am not the only one with this wish.

Yes, you will have to learn to respect and tolerate others, including Muslims, women and children, although you can presently get away with insulting and abusing these groups in Thailand. I hope no walls will be built around Thailand, but foreign misogynists send home to deal with their problems there.
  6. I've never seen so many badly dressed, ridiculous moustaches and laughable haircuts as on the swiss, austrian german collection down there.

    Which has prompted the thought............

    ....

do they post about how bad the poms and aussies are? is there part of our personality that they get naffed off with??

We generally avoid soapdodgers and vegimite munchers who sport crew cuts and the odd tatoo while getting senselssly pissed and mouthing off, otherwise we love poms and aussies, as for the yanks, hmmm, we avoid them altogether. :o:D
  7. Looks like someone 'noodled' that article... :o

    Thailand in 30 years:

Thaksin will have consolidated his no-nonsense approach to care for Thailand and its people.

-Presisency of the nation will be inherited by birthright.

-Thaksin will have asked the US for assistance to free the South from the evil grip of Islam. All Muslims will have volunteered to convert or are held on offshore islands under the Thai patriot act. US military bases along the borders of Thailand will secure peace and stability in the region.

-The elite card will have become a huge success, because only the cream of world tourists will be allowed to enter Thailand, i.e. those who hold the card. Work permits and marriage visas will only be issued to responsible owners of the platinum elite card.

-Social benefits of 1000 bht/year will be paid to low income families, financed by the elite card scheme. In return families will offer their teenage virgins to Thai/Chinese businessmen and send the eldest daughter to work in the government owned entertainment zones.

-The government will further the advance of modern technology, owners of mobiles with AIS contracts are eligible for discounts to use the net of 3-story superhighways stretching over major cities. Income tax benefits for all families who own more than one car or two taxis.

  8. stroll some of us are not aussies, we like to shower and bathe,.

as for thai attire, if you do not know what that is you really should spend some time looking around, you will see lots of thais in it.

as for the thai law of wearing underpants i am sure a member of so many posts as yours stroll know that it is infact against the law to go out in public not wearing underwear, i am sure that you know this stroll, obviousily if you do not know this then we would question your apptittude on walking and chewing gum at the same time...

The number of posts does not reflect the level of knowledge, nor does being a newbie exempt you from using your brain before posting.

The Thais in my neighbourhood wear all sorts of attire, I have not cared to investigate whether y-fronts are obligatory. Considering the practice of lawenforcement (prostitution is illegal too), I wouldn't get hung up on wearing underpants if I were you. :o:D

  9. The saddest thing about Thailand is that a creepy ugly thing like that can get serviced by these girls.

Any self respecting whorehouse in the world would not let him past the front door.

His skin care is proudly handled by the House of Estee Lauder. :o

The foto has been enhanced (contrast/colour).
You seem extremely knowledgeable on this subject 4431. I find it hard to believe, although I believe you, there is no law against the knowingly transmitting of a potentially deadly disease. Is there any other charge that could be brought about that would cover such an act? Such as, Willful intent to cause bodily harm or murder. I mean if you know what you are doing, you can kill somebody easily with a tightly rolled up newspaper. But it is not against the law to carry a newspaper. And a newspaper is not classed as a deadly weapon. What I mean is, if somebody folds a newspaper and rolls it up tightly, it becomes as hard as wood and a hard hit to the throat or temple, could potentially kill. What would be the charge?

    The charge for what?

If somebody got killed or injured, the choice of weapon would be a secondary consideration.

Claiming to intend to and have injured somebody with a rolled-up newspaper, while there are no confirmed victims, wouldn't usually result in long prison sentences or being stoned to death, psychiatric treatment might be recommended.

I don't know about Greece, but in a number of nations including Thailand basic principles of presenting and examining evidence exist in court proceedings. This also applies to one-legged Germans who supposedly have spread HIV.

Stoning to death is in most countries not regarded as an appropriate form of punishment, it is only used in primitive societies or under religious regimes. It would be a good mental and emotional exercise to try and figure out why this is so? Seems to me your moral judgement carries religious undertones.

If witnesses came forward there could be a number of charges against the guy, paying girls below 18 for sex would be one that might stick, in Thailand and in Germany. Considering the media coverage and the unqualified comments made on the internet, it is understandable there are no reported witnesses.

The issue of a forced HIV test is interesting, I believe in Germany it could be authorised, and he would be persecuted under German law, even if the crimes were committed in Thailand (subject to reasonable grounds for further investigation, which requires more than hear-say and newspaper reports).

  10. What are you high on, Ravisher?

Any similarities between this guy and Hitler, other than the blank notion of being German? Nobody wants to have sex with him, not even for a lot of money, but you have no doubt that the reports about him having infected hundreds of underage girls is true and he should be stoned to death?

After 22 pages on this subject you continue to post ignorant lynch mob dribble, - appaling!
