    Posted in THB. My card has no foreign transaction fee. Each person needs their own card. Not able to pay for multiple passengers with one card.

    US card works with no additional charge. I think you can only use a card on MRT.

    It wasn't clear. The car was more than ten years. I think the original owner may have purchased some kind of extended warranty, because I had to pay a deductible of several thousand.

    Make sure it is not under warranty. Had a battery fail on a ten year old Prius. I had to pay several thousand baht, and Toyota covered the rest. After replacement, all is good again.

    I have a top of the line JVC integrated amp from the early '80s that needs service. Knew of a couple shops in CM years ago that worked on this type of gear. No idea if they are still around. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Some people enjoy visiting different wine regions around the world, bringing home souvenirs to enjoy and bring back memories. I can send a case of wine from S. Africa to the USA, no problem. Not to Thailand though. :(

    Will be interesting to see what they are going for in ten years. If dirt cheap, I'd gamble on one. Fun car.

    We were talking about battery failure - usually not repairable.

    Me too, but it was repairable, hence the vehicle still retained some value.

    Doubt a BYD will be worth much with two years left on the warranty. Might make sense to pick up one cheap, and drive it until it dies.
