A 28-year-old tomboy bar worker was taken to hospital after allegedly using a pocket knife to injure herself at a GoGo bar in the early hours of 19 September 2026.
Rescuers said the woman, identified only as Ms A, suffered a wound to the base of her neck. Her injuries were not believed to be deep, but she was bleeding heavily when emergency crews arrived.
Emergency response at Pattaya venue
Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Pattaya rescue radio centre received the report at 2.35am. Volunteers and officers from Pattaya City Police Station were sent to the venue.

At the scene, Ms A, a tomboy working as a drinks mixer, was being supported by her 24-year-old girlfriend, who works as a serving staff member at the venue.
Rescue workers gave Ms A initial treatment before transferring her urgently to hospital.
Partner says staff tried to intervene
The girlfriend told officers that she and Ms A were in a relationship, but she did not know what had made her girlfriend feel upset or distressed.

She said staff were working when Ms A suddenly took out a pocket knife and appeared to stab herself in the neck. People nearby attempted to stop her and take the knife away, but were unable to do so before the blade cut the skin at the base of her neck.
The girlfriend said the wound was fortunately not that deep, but bleed a lot. Staff contacted emergency services for help and for the incident to be examined and investigated.
