Of course it is, there would be no antisemitism rules without US power to enforce it, it works in the US, GB, Europe because of Holocaust denial, which I totally agree with, the trouble is the Israel question where criticism of their actions has been slipped into the regulation to deny anyone making a fuss about any Israeli actions.

This was argued by all and sundae, before it was put on the statute in the early 2000's, I was on a Union committee that was against the text at the time, there were loads of meeting with MP's, Parliamentary Committees from all points of the compass, this is where I became very aware of the Israeli lobby, and the plight of Palestinians.

Sorry to say the IHRA is what we ended up with after going through all the meetings and ended up going into law, well not so much law as guidance, about 5 years later the US followed suit, and we have the sh!t show that we have today.

There are a lot of Jews that are against it as it is really only for the Zionists with no room for any alternatives, looking back in hindsight anti-Zionists got caught on the back-foot and the Israeli Lobby won the day,

Happy days, when I thought people where honest and would do the right things which would benefit all sides, how naive I was, met some lovely Palestinians at the time, and that convinced me which side to pick in this conflict.

Zionists are not to be trusted, in my opinion, they are the problem of Jews/Israel and the rest of the Middle East, but they are also very good at what they do, pulling the wool over peoples eyes, along with the Christian Fundamentalists. No one is more scary than a seemingly reasonable person that isn't, believe me.

Kick out the Palestinians and Jewish people, both.

Relocate them all.

Use the land for AI data centers.

If you read the latest thread about Anutin's orders, it seems like the Chabads barring Thais was one of the straws that broke the camel's back. It is perceived by both locals and authorities either as a power threat of culturally inappropriate.
