bobrussell
You are going to face a real uphill struggle if your intention is to move back to the UK. From a decision makers point of view your girl friend is going to appear high risk. There would appear to be every reason for her to want to remain in the UK and little or no reason why she should return. A marriage visit visa is really designed for people with a settled life outside the UK where the intention is for the couple to return to the home country. An example would be someone living in Thailand marrying a UK spouse with the intention that they both will live in Thailand. Pregnancy is only going to increase the concerns that this is an attempt to by-pass the settlement rules and live in the UK. If you have suitable employment in the UK that will reach the income threshold then you can argue that a marriage visit visa might be appropriate to allow marriage and as a stop gap to meeting the income requirements for settlement. People have done this successfully. Without confirmed employment here this is going to be difficult to show. Sorry to rain on your parade but you have to provide a good working plan for settlement in the near future. Failing that you are going to need to find very good reasons for the applicant to return within the terms of the visit visa. Sambo5000
Hi again guys, we went for the fiance visa but just got refused... On the grounds that; We did not submit satisfactory documents to prove our relationship, furthermore, my current circumstances are unclear We stated that we will marry on 8th Jan next year and provided booking confirmation, bu they say this was not satisfactory, also they are unsatisfied with my gf's circumstances, being unemployed, no income or savings, or family ties in Thailand / assets or property. My dad was happy to be a sponsor for her trip and supplied a bunch of documents to prove his savings but they are'nt satisfied that his offer is genuine So we want to try again, I was hoping some of you could offer some advice on some of the above pointers. Thanks.

brewsterbudgen
If you can post the text from the refusal letter, with personal details blocked out, I'm sure you'll get advice on how to address them. brewsterbudgen
What documents did you provide from the Registry Office? They obviously didn't accept the evidence you supplied to demonstrate your relationship and you being unemployed in Thailand could suggest that you're planning to remain in the UK after the marriage. You'll need to address these points before re-applying.I'd recommend getting specialist advice from a reputable visa agency. The Forum sponsor comes highly recommended.Sent from my SM-G930F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
Grauwulf
So let me get this right, you are unemployed, have no assets or property in UK. You appear to be struggling financially ( noted your other post about being short on the fee for your tourist visa in Vientiane) You want to go back to the UK with your pregnant girlfriend of 5 months. Did you really think your visit in the LOS through? How are you supporting yourselves in BKK, you can’t be working if only on a tourist visa..... hard as this may be but you need to go back to the UK alone get a job save some money and come back with a sustainable future. I can totally see why they refused your visa your drowning fast and clutching at straws. Good luck.
