Wanted Iranian drug dealer nearly sent home

PATTAYA:--An Iranian man set for deportation was hit with additional charges after immigration police discovered he was the subject of an old arrest warrant.

 

Hassan Yousefi, 33, had been arrested by Chonburi and Narcotics Suppression police for overstaying his visa after alleging he was dealing methamphetamines. He was tried in Pattaya Provincial Court, which handed down a two-year jail sentence and 4,000 baht fine.

 

The jail term was suspended and he was transferred to the Chonburi Immigration Office for deportation.

 

While in their holding cell, immigration police discovered Yousefi was wanted for dealing crystal meth on an Aug. 15, 2017 warrant.

HUH?  He was wanted on another warrant issued only just over 2 weeks previous to his arrest this week?  Good to see the BiB keeping a close eye on things.   And why only a 4000 Thb fine for dealing class 1 drugs?

Close the cases...... 25 year black stamp & eye imaging  first plane out.

Just get rid of this scum

He'll be transferred around a little more before he goes - if only for every one to get their photo taken with him for their wall.

He is lucky going back home, but probably will tell others about how he could get away and perhaps encouraging friends to do the same, no problem if you get busted. ?

Sends a clear message of how farked the system is, seriously deport him on a handed down sentence of 2 years jail, next we will have an influx of every other scumbag selling their lollies to Thailand, WRONG move judge, cleary !

Long enough to realise that there will always be someone who questions how long someone has been in Thailand, when they make a very tongue in cheek comment on TVN.   But if you really need to know then more than 6 years.
