Pathum Thani construction site quarrel ends in murder

A construction foreman in Pathum Thani has been charged with murder after allegedly confessing to killing a worker with a hoe.

Khlong Luang district superintendent Pol Colonel Ritthinan Puipanthawong said Banjong Moungsisiad, 41, had admitted to striking Pradit Leknok, 49, in the head four or five times with a hoe.

Both men hailed from Chaiyaphum.

Pradit’s body was found at about 3am Wednesday on the ground floor of a two-storey townhouse in the Preuksa 13 Housing Estate in Tambon Khlong Sam.

A bloodied hoe was found in the road in front of the estate.

Neighbours had called police after hearing men arguing loudly and seeing one man stomping the head of another.

Police questioned the workers staying at the house before Banjong allegedly admitted to causing the death, saying Pradit had often insulted him.

Banjong allegedly said he’d been drunk and sneaked up on the sleeping Pradit to assault him.

I guess the good old days of using fisticuffs to resolve matters are well gone.

If only ganja was legalized, none of this would have happened. Alcohol is a dangerous drug.

What about people who murder, rape, rob and assault when they're sober?

What about them? There's obviously no hope for them.

All I'm saying is that alcohol fuels violence, whilst ganja doesn't.

Not quite, 'all' you said was, "If only ganja was legalized, none of this would have happened." insinuating that increased ganja use would stop these types of crimes being commited. BTW I love weed, and I agree that alcohol is dangerous but your post is BS.
