So if racial purity has nothing to do with it but only membership of the Jewish religion by ancestry or conversion, then all those Jews with a right to return must be very religious, right? If yes, then why do they violate some of the Ten Commandments practically every day: Do Not Murder: Protect human life. Gaza? Do Not Commit Adultery: Maintain purity in marriage. Raping prisoners. Do Not Steal: Respect the property of others. Stealing land and property. Do Not Bear False Witness: Tell the truth in court and daily life. As we can read here everyday Do Not Covet: Do not desire what belongs to others. Westbank. AFAIK as God will not forgive these, the wrongdoer must first confess to the victim, pay back what was stolen, earn the victim's forgiveness, and then ask God for pardon. Except asking God for forgiveness everything the wrongdoer must do before that might turn out to be a little be a bit tricky. I mean what if the victim is dead and so is his whole family? Which might be the case in most of the cases. If no, and it seems to me, as if those Jews are not very religious are they? However if they're not religious then how can they belong to the Jewish religion? I mean isn't that the definition of being a member of a religion that you believe and act on explicitly what that religion teaches. And if you still remain a Jew no matter if you believe in the religion and follow God's orders or not, well, then we are back to maybe not a racial thing but something very similar to it. I mean your whole claim on the area is based on the promise of God to to the Jewish people, right? And as God is practically the main character in most religions, definitely in the Judeo-Christian religions, so the whole thing is based on your religion. Then tell me, how can a person who does not believe in and act on God's commandments think that he has a right to God's land?
