Passport Need?

Featured Replies

I am 91 years old and have been in Thailand for 31 years continuous. I very seldom leave the house and have food and other supplies delivered.

Next year my passport expires but the question is - do I even need a current passport? Is it required for a retired visa extension?

91 top effort. Who has been doing your extensions? Agent?

You need a valid permission of stay stamp.

That would mean annual extensions.

There is no pass card because of age.

You need renew, pp.

What is pp country.

Where are you located.

Agents can do pp renewal process.

Yes, a current passport is required for any extension.

I have been doing my extensions myself for over 30 years(Korat Imm) but each year Imm seems to add more forms and it has become a nightmare. Did extension last month, it took 3 hours. Forms downloaded the night before from the Thai Imm department were declared "no good" must do another form, etc.

If anyone could recommend an agent that will do "everything" so I just need to have photo taken that would be great.

I'm not familiar with agents in Korat.

@ThaiVisaCentre any advice for this guy.

OP after many years on doing the extensions myself I'm looking into agent due to mobility.

Sadly Thailand does not support assistance in that.
