    VIENNA (Reuters) - Austria's Social Democrat Chancellor Christian Kern and conservative Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz on Thursday rejected European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker's vision to expand eastward the euro and a border control free zone.

    Thai nationals exempted from airport immigration form

    Supreme Court final ruling favours Bt1.7 million in rights compensation to Myanmar workers

    The Supreme Court of Thailand on Thursday affirmed a previous ruling in a landmark test case that 14 migrant workers from Myanmar be awarded Bt1.7 million to compensate for rights violations perpetrated against them by Thammakaset chicken farm in Lopburi province.

    Tourism offices join forces to improve professionalism, grow industry

    4th Army chief orders military offensive after Yala incidents

    Lt Gen Piyawat Nakwanich, the 4th Army commander, has ordered all operating units to go on the offensive against perpetrators of violent incidents in Kabang and Yaha districts of Yala province in which one soldier was killed and 19 people wounded on Thursday (Sept 14), Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc) Region 4 spokesman Col Pramote Prom-in said.

    Driver baffles passersby by changing tyre caught in wheel clamp, but still pays fine

    Usually when drivers find their cars immobilised by wheel clamps in no-parking zones, they usually rush to the nearest police station to pay the fine and return to their the cars to wait for police remove the impediment.

    Google to launch mobile payment service in India – report
