Need a good dentist in CM for wisdom tooth removal. Any recommendations?

A little research has shown me Grace is the preferred dental option for most in CM. Unfortunately, Grace dental clinic only performs wisdom tooth extractions on Thursdays. I can't wait that long because the pain from my tooth is annoying me too much. Does anyone know of any other decent dental clinic that performs wisdom tooth extraction? Recommendations would be much appreciated.

Grace is popular with newbies. I went there when I first got here - can't remember why. Adverts?

Better, cheaper, options include dental4u (google) at Thapae Gate.

Grace did a lot of adverts for sure.

Yes, a reasonable number of good options with very qualified Dentists.  To suggest that only Grace and Ram are acceptable is misinformed.

Went to dental4u for xray today. Was surprised at the price of it - 800 baht seems expensive considering many places do x-rays for 200-300. My own fault for not asking beforehand how much it would cost.

Anyway, they told me my bottom tooth is impacted. Would need to remove top and bottom on left hand side at a total cost of 6000-7000 baht. It will be a dentist performing extraction as opposed to an oral surgeon, which concerns me. I might cancel and grin and bear the pain.

Ban Rim Fah For Fan

is the dentist I use. Extracted my daughters impacted (at 90 degree angle) wisdom tooth. Very reasonably priced. Difficult to get appointment as he does all the work himself. Very little pain afterwards, seemed a pretty good job.

You could book in for a consultation he is very thorough at explaining everything in English or Thai.

I had my impacted wisdom tooth removed back home by a dentist with a hammer and chisel ( proper dental ones ), so can be done.

However, 7,000 bht seems way too much for a Thai dentist. That's what I'd expect for a specialist.

Did you try the hospital?

What reason did they give for removing both on the left? I only had the impacted one removed.

Unfortunately, I have had a Thai dentist telling me I needed work done when it didn't. Just to make money.

I have been using Asia Fortune Dental for the past five years for all sorts of dental work including removing of a wisdom tooth.  In my case I had my wisdom tooth looked at in the states and they told me it would be a very difficult removal because of how the roots were spread.  I waited until I returned here and went to my dentist here Asia Fortune Dental and the owner who is a professor at CMU dental department pulled it out without incident.  I was very happy with his work and the work the other dentist have given me there over the years.  Here is a link:  http://www.asiafortunedentalhospital.com/
