The Royal Thai Navy will hold the 4th Ship Technology for the Next Decade, or Ship Tech IV Exhibition, on Nov 15-17 to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), deputy navy commander Adm Paladej Charoenpool announced.

Adm Paladej said the exposition, organised by the Department of Naval Shipyard, will be held at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel at Pattaya in Chon Buri province.

The event will exhibit future ship technology, armament, and the security system of the Royal Thai Navy.  Fifty-eight countries have accepted the invitation to join the exhibition.

Instead of the posh Royal Cliff Beach Hotel they should have the exhibition on their aircraft carrier to make it useful at least for something.

Maybe the Admirals didn't want to write all those invitations to 58 countries representatives allowing permission for "foreigners" to board the boat.

Hmmm why 3 days?... Do they sell 1hour tickets?

I think its an invitation only event ?

Wanna go and buy shares in submarine tourism and discover the only spot where the shallow Gulf of Thailand is 68 m deep?

It will be interesting to see how Singapore views the exhibition. It ranks fourth of the five most deadly navies in Asia. http://nationalinterest.org/feature/the-5-most-deadly-navies-asia-12001

Pattaya. No sailors going down on submarines, but BGs going down on sailors. All aboard.
