Police set to charge student with animal cruelty for ‘poisoning’ dog

Police will charge a medical student, who allegedly poisoned his dog to get compensation, with animal cruelty once they receive the full test results on the dog.

 

Regional Medical Science Centre 9 Nakhon Ratchasima director Banjong Kitirattakan revealed on Monday that the analysis of the drugs found in the Pomeranian’s stomach was nearly done.

 

Banjong said authorities had learned the drugs were not vitamins or a food supplement, as claimed by the dog’s owner.

 

He said three drugs had to be tested.

 

Yellow and white pills were found in the dog’s stomach and yellow pills were found in the dog carry bag.

 

Only the test results on the yellow pills found in the stomach are yet to be completed.

 

They will be available on Tuesday at the latest, Banjong said.

 

He said the results will be handed to police.

 

Police said they will charge to student with animal cruelty this week.

Poisoning dogs seems to be a frequent thing i the LOS..  Over the years we've lost 2 dogs to poisoning.  Other locals have lost some too.

you try living in a soi where mangy soi dogs continuously chase and bite kids and the elderly going to the shop. They carry disease, they are pests.

Thank God he is so dumb to try this and get caught.  Imagine the lies he would have told patients to get extra money from them.

Also they crap outside or beside your home.  Ok for your guys living in condos, but we have homes here and it stinks the crap left behind. Agreed, they are pests!

What about charging him with Insurance fraud,or are the Police

just happy with cruelty to animals.as that's why he poisoned the dog.

sorry anybody knows about the news that a pick-up van drag two little cat to death? did the police found the driver ??
