I believe the 5th October 2017 is a Laos Public holiday, will the Laos visa issuing office on the Nong Khai border be open on the 4th and 5th?

     

You can get a visa on arrival every day of the year. On a public holiday, the visa cost is increased by a $1 overtime fee.

    They are open every day of the year. They don't close for weekends or holidays.
