Woman files complaint against Facebook user for defamation

By Thai PBS

The mother of a four-year-old boy, who caused damage to a car by painting colour on it, has filed a complaint against a Facebook user for allegedly defaming her.

The woman filed the complaint with Bang Phli police in Samut Prakan today (Sept 19), accusing a Facebook user by the name of Nut Khaijeo of defaming her in the social media in violation of the Computer Crime Act.

The woman said her four-year-old son and a friend painted colour on a car out of naughtiness.  She asked the owner of the car to take it for repair at a shop and she would pay for the work.

So the owner refused to go to the shop to get fixed  - no doubt because the bill will be in his name so he prefered cash to ensure he got paid for damages ( just show her the quotes & see if the money will come)

So now there's a friend of the sons as well

And the best one of all is she thought she would sue the owner but got a shock when it wasn't him

All the usual Thai shit of denial & deceit

Sounds like she couldn't give a shit about the terrible mess to the car or about her slut-of-a-kid's behaviour. Typically, she is only concerned for her own image . . . . especially on the FB bible. Sickening.

According to the defamation standards used by the Prayut government, anyone who "likes" the FB posting should also be charged with violation as well. Just more people to sue for defamation.

You don't need truth, just excuses for justice.

proper way would have been: go to the official car dealer, ask for the all include price of fixing the damage and how long they will need the car (say x days)

2. go to a car rental company ask for the price for an equivalent car for x days

3. Go to police and sue them for that amount of money beforehand (you don't want to pay all this and then don't get the money)
