I have a friend, not very internet savvy, who lives in the Lat Krabang area west of the industrial estate who would like to meet with English speaking people periodically. He is elderly English/Australian and owns a small business but has no English speakers to talk to and is interested in a club or a sports pub gathering say weekly but is not interested in travelling to the downtown area. I know it is improbable but I thought I'd ask.

There's not much out that way that's farang. His best bet would probably be hotel bars -- of which there are many because of the airport.

 

But I don't know of any in particular.
