Trump Sees Canada Deal ‘Fairly Soon,’ Downplays Leaving USMCA

President Donald Trump expressed optimism about resolving a trade fight with Canada and downplayed the prospect of quitting a continental trade pact, in a potential sign of de-escalating tensions between the two countries.

Trump was asked Saturday whether he intended to have the US leave the US-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Dublin.

“We’re doing great. We’re going to have a great relationship with Mexico. We actually have a good one with Canada,” Trump said.

He went on to say that a deal with Canada could come “fairly soon,” but provided no details on whether formal talks between the two economies had resumed.

I have to give Trump credit, he has spouted more BS in two terms than most people manage in their entire lifetime.

This is simply more evidence that Trump is living in an alternate reality of his own creation. He has truly decimated America's relationship with its most reliable ally and neighbor.

Mark Carney has outsmarted him at every turn and Canada has gone on to develop very valuable relationships with other nations, who want their precious resources, the highest quality lumber in the world that is created in their Boreal forests, their oil, their gas, their rare earth materials and many other resources and products that they create.

Like usual Trump has done an incredible disservice to the American people by creating this completely unnecessary war of choice with a great nation that has helped us in two world wars, and has always been by our side.

Don is a disaster, he is absolutely gutter trash and hopefully after November we won't be seeing much more of him, as his influence will wane even further than it has already.

Tuesday night he gets Natalie to pressure wash his bottom to get rid of the TACO taint, which leaves a stain if you don't get it off 😎
