Officials at Khao Phanom Benja National Park put up a sign informing tourists to Huay Tia Waterfall in Tambon Thapprik not to get into the water for fear of possible surging flood waters from upstream. Officials were also on standby to personally warn tourists. Meanwhile, the water level was rising in Thapprik Canal that runs through Mueang district due to downstream runoff from the Phanom Benja mountains. Officials have warned people living on the canal banks to move their belongings upstairs. rudi49jr
I love Khao Phanom Bencha, it's a relatively small national park, but quite beautiful, I spent many happy hours exploring it. Hope everyone will stay out of the waterfall for now and be safe.
