Dear Folks,

COVID-2020 proved to be the Great Divide for so many around the world.

And, now, it is 2026……

I have forgotten how to visit a barber shop.

So many good things have been forgotten,...since then.

How do YOU feel about this relative angst, compared to pre-COVID…?

Sometimes this reminds me of how I felt after we experienced the Spanish Flu, back in 1918.

So many caskets, just piling up in the streets.

And, it is no different now.

I am telling you that pivotal plagues such as these have an impact far greater than most of us realize.

And so, these days, I have NO PLANS to have my haircut, as I once used to.

What about you?

NOTE: I DO NOT, particularly miss the barber's chair.....and...it seems so very long ago that I actually sat in one......

    Poor Gamma, hasn't left his basement hovel since 2020, thinks there is still a pandemic going on. 😂

    Hey, Gamma, give it another 15-20 years until all the viruses have safely dissipated. Then you can safely go outside again and get a haircut. Just keep eating your canned sardines and don't even worry about any of it, the time will pass much quicker than you think.

    What I think is this:

    This 2026/2027 SUPER-DUPER El Niño is beginning to get us all down.....

    We have not had a good rain this year.

    This year's El Niño is so much more intense than anything anyone has ever experienced during the past 100 or 1000 years.

    No Rain.

    And, without a steady rain, a regular steady rain during the Raining Season, I become glum, or glummer than usual.

    If ONLY it would rain....

    Also, it is no wonder that the skinks are now invading our bathrooms.

    Skinks need water.

    Logically, they think they can find water in places where we take baths.

    This is NO JOKE, Folks.

    The world is heating up, and....

    The skinks do not like it.

    These days, though:

    I often think that I am still rather fortunate, because....

    Better to have a few skinks in one's bathroom, rather than just one skank....and....

    I know that you know what I mean, if you are like me.

    CARRY ON.....!!!

    Still great music, and, probably, even more important today than it ever was.
