KL visa B issues

Well, my employer is too lazy to find out how to convert my Non O to a B at the local immigration office. I am being forced to go to KL for a single entry B (my O is ME).

 

That embassy has different visa Non O forms for different applications. The teacher application is ridiculous.

 

Any feedback on the latest for teachers getting B at KL? I am heading out there next week.

You cannot covert from a non-o to a non-b at immigration. There is no need to do it since you could apply for a extension of stay based upon teaching if you had all the required documents and a work permit.

Their checklist here http://www.thaiembassy.org/kualalumpur/contents/files/services-20170329-105646-383024.pdf is about the same as other nearby locations except for this one "6. Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin". Other locations will accept a Thai police clearance certificate.
