pugwash1
Hello everybody. I have been in Thailand for 3 years now,on an extension for marriage. I am flying back to the UK on Dec 10th, which will be the first time i have exited Thailand. My question is,how soon can i present myself,Tm8 form, and relevant photocopies,at Surin immigration? I am aware that i can do it at Swampy on the day,but i am not one for leaving things late. Any information will be gratefully received.
ubonjoe
You can apply for a re-entry permit at any time during your one year extension. The re-entry permit will be valid for entry up to the date your extension expires or if used for a single re-entry permit. The departure and entry dates you put on the TM8 form mean nothing since they are not put on the re-entry permit stamp.
