Lodgings in national parks open for advance bookings

Lodgings in national parks are now open for advance bookings for tourists who are interested to spend time there during the upcoming high tourist season, said Mr Tunya Netithammakul, director-general of National Parks, Wildlife and Plants Conservation Department, on Sunday.

 

Besides Khao Yai national park which is one of the most popular tourist destinations, he said there are several other national parks most popular among tourists during the cold season at the end of the year and early next year.

 

These popular tourist spots include Doi Inthanon, Doi Suthep, Huay Nam Dung national park and Doi Pa Hom Pok in Chiang Mai, Phu Rua national park in Loei, Phi-Phi Islands, Ao Phang-nga, Similan Islands, Surin Islands, Lanta and Ang Thong Islands.
