Thai work permit

Featured Replies

i'm 20 years old i want  move to Thailand and working any one can tell me what is the jobs that i can work ?

I know nothing of your skills, and what kind of salary you are looking for. If you can find a Thai employer willing to take you, it is generally possible to get a work permit. There are a few occupations reserved for Thais only, but I suspect you are not planning to work, for instance, making traditional Thai musical instruments, so they will likely not apply to you.

Because wages for Thais, while they have been edging up for years, are generally low by international standards, you are unlikely to find a Thai employer willing to employ you unless you can show special skills.

Depending on your nationality sand salary, you may not be paid enough to get an extension of stay based on working (a separate issue from the work permit) and may end up needing to do border runs, and getting a multiple entry Non B visa (once you have a work permit).

Please tell us what skills and qualifications you have, including the languages you speak.

How long have you previously lived in Thailand for?

What is your nationality?

If we know these details we can better answer your question.
