Hi, 

 

My work permit is valid until Dec 2017, my non b extension is valid until May 2018. 

I asked my employer if they have cancelled it or not yet they just ignore my messages. 

They are also bluffing me that they have cancelled the permit already. 

Can I cancel it in Cambodia and after obtaining a Tourist Visa, apply for Non O? 

 

I also want to report my employer because he fired me without notice and did not gave me severance pay. 

I have worked with them for a year.

Your employer could cancel you work permit without you being present.

As soon as you leave the country your extension of stay becomes invalid it you don't have a re-entry permit to use for entry.

You cannot cancel anything without being in the country.

You get for a tourist visa or a non-o visa while out of the country.

Can I still report him to the Ministry of Labor as it happened months before?

I also dont know if my visa was cancelled or not. 

I will exit to Cambodia on the 29th. I still dont know if my permit is still valid or not.

Will it vary when I go to the Cambodia border?

So, am I overstay if my permit was cancelled already?

A work permit being canceled does not cause an overstay,

Immigration will not cancel an extension unless you are present when it done.
