Dear all (and Ubon Joe), 

 

I've been working in Bangkok for 3 months now and have a work permit and 1 year extension of stay from CW immigration. I started on a non-B visa.

My spouse would like to change her tourist visa to a non-O at CW immigration, however, I am unsure about the following documents as the institution I work at does not seem too sure about how easy it will be to get them.

 

Are the following documents straightforward to obtain?

 

1. A copy of the list of withholding income tax of Thai employees (Form Paw Ngor Dor.1) (for the past 3 months, together with the attached list of all Thai employees, showing the first to the last names, and the receipt)
2. A copy of the list of withholding income tax of the foreigner (Form Paw Ngor Dor. 91) for the latest year (If you cannot present it, please submit an explanatory letter.) (Attention: Immigration Commissioner)

 

I've included the list, but as my institution is a private university, I assume some of the 'vocabulary' used and documents required do not apply exactly as specified on the paper?

1. That should not be hard for the university to supply.

2. Easy done since you have been working here long enough to of done a annual income tax return. Just your taxes payment since you have been working would be enough.

Perhaps it was just a case of it being too early last month (only 2 months work) for them to get the Por Ngor Dor 91 for me.
