Prayut creates new ‘super board’ to ensure regional plans in line with national

PM Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has approved yet another committee on regional administration acting as a “super board” in a bid to integrate and accelerate the work flows of provincial cluster authorities in all six regions of Thailand.

 

The approval was granted during a meeting of the integral provincial and cluster administrative policy committee chaired by Prayut on Thursday.

 

The committee was set up early this year as part of the government’s bid to improve work and manage budget efficiency at provincial and provincial cluster levels so that they can be developed at a similar pace, without leaving some behind.

 

Members of the new committee would be sought by the Prayut-headed committee, which will forward names for the Cabinet’s approval.

 

Acting as a super board, the new committee would assist provincial clusters in developing regional strategies, to bring them in line with the national one.

 

“All regions have to create connectivity among each other. By doing so, each region needs to be paved with a development plan to prevent work overlapping,” Prayut said “They will also be divided into clusters to support regional competitiveness.”

Yet another committee!

Is there no committee in Thailand that isn't chaired by Prayut? The man is suffering from such delusions that he thinks he has to be in charge of everything that happens in Thailand. 

Now we have new "super" boards with new "super" committees with a "super" chairman who will be working with their "clusters". This man is funnier than Benny Hill.

it is called cronyism

Let me quess. The super board will be staffed by generals and ex-generals. Got to keep them employed and aligned. 

More jobs for the boys ......all on nice salaries.

 

As corruption supposedly decreases, nepotism increases exponentially.

The "national one" being the constitutionally mandated NCPO 20-year reform plan?

This new super board thus assures prevention of any grassroots organizations from making their own decisions as to development priorities and resource needs. Mao would be proud.

Amazing. A PM whose industrious and actually turns up and chairs committees, in an environment where committees decide on other committees who appoint another committee to organize a committee to investigate and report back replaces a PM who appointed herself to chair one important committee and then never bothered turning up! 

 

But there again, she wasn't actually in charge of anything.

Amazing PM that even facebook do not want anything to do with

 

Typical Greens outlook on life especial when you have never seen action, just talk and more talk. Talk is cheap so fits in around here well, just like the those who had to get the shins involved with this topic.

 

The shins have been forced out lets move on and forget about them, but I guess Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is an illness will no know treatment for the shindisease.
