easybullet3
i asked a question on a similar subject a few days ago. i have an updated question: Someone mentioned to me that if my Landlord doesn't give me a receipt for the space I am renting, then I can make my own receipt, (on their behalf). I was told to do this by printing a copy the landlords Thai ID Card onto a piece of paper and writing a receipt for the rent. I sign it and I send it to the landlord for him to sign. I do actually have a scanned copy of my Landlords Thai ID Card from when I needed his ID to change my internet. Has anyone heard of such a method in Thailand before ? if I made a receipt in the above manner, would it be acceptable ? or is it illegal ? Thank you,
blackcab
Preparing the document for him to sign is legal, but you seem to be missing the point... The landlord doesn't want to give you a receipt, so if you do this they are still not going to sign and just going to annoy them.
