Panthongtae, the only son of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, on Friday (Oct 20) strongly lashed out at the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) for leaking to the public a picture of him reporting to the agency to hear a money-laundering charge in connection with Krungthai bank loans.

He posted on his Facebook page that when he reported to the DSI on Oct 19 officials there told him they had to work very carefully to prevent a repetition of a case when former prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva had his picture secretly taken while reporting to the DSI and the picture was leaked to the media.

This prompted Mr Abhisit to call the DSI chief and threatened to file a lawsuit against the DSI for violating his personal rights.  The DSI secretary-general subsequently set up a committee to investigate, Mr Panthongtae quoted the officials as saying.

Who cares. We know what you look like.

Oh! the poor precious little thing, must be so humiliating, nearly as bad as getting caught cheating in exams.

A grotty little man complaining about an even more grotty  opponent. Thai politics is groundhog day. :coffee1:

Yeah, as usual! This family never accepted to be looked at and scrutinized like all other people. Time they realize they ain´t stnding above the law.

 Everybody on the right side of The Establishment stands above the law in Thailand. The place is a textbook example of rule by law.

Not understanding the time to wave the white flag,

will be this families down fall

it will always be somebody else has caused the problem,

Blah, blah, blah, Thaksin delenda est.

reading/following the link to the main PBS article, we see a hyper inflated ego speaking like a politician;not with any high intellect

Wasn't he planning to post the picture on Facebook, of himself being oppressed & persecuted, then ? :whistling:

Remember when this punk and his mate formed media company to get the advertising account to manage the glass walls of the MRT?

They had trial runs in couple stations and only one or two screens.  It failed.  They couldn't make it work.

They folded the biz.

What is he doing now?

Something? Anything?

1. Remember also that the same advertising contract had already been won by an experienced agency but after the event it was magically cancelled and magically given to sonny boy who had no experience in his industry. As said sonny boy failed in 5 minutes.

2. What's be doing now - he 'manages' VOICE TV also known as PEACE TV, the TV version of the udd / red shirt movement. Who are their main on-screen commentators? Jatuporn and Nutawoot and a few more red agitators. I wonder who finances this venture?

And where is VOICE TV / PEACE TV located? In the Shinatwatra University buildings.
