My visa expires today and i'd like to do a 30 day extension at chaeng wattana, but are they closed on weekend? If I go Monday will I get a fine?

They're closed on Monday too, as it's a Holiday.  But you shouldn't be fined.

Are you sure about no fine? Reading mixed reports online...

Closed today and Monday.

Go on Tuesday and you will not be fined for an overstay. After Tuesday you will be fined 500 baht for everyday.

Not sure why you waited until the last day. You lose no days by doing it early since the extension starts from the date you permit to stay ends.
