webfact
Bored with people who post Facebook pictures of their dinner? Perhaps not this time... Picture: Sanook SAMUI: -- A Thai man who bought three fish at a Chaweng market on Koh Samui had an unexpected surprise. When he sliced into them he found all three were crawling with well developed maggots, reported Sanook. He then posted a video of his aborted dinner on Facebook saying "sorry if you have not eaten yet". Netizens said he should take them back to the shop while everyone called on the authorities to go to foot outlets in the area and investigate cleanliness. The poster did not name the shop but intimated they sold curry and rice. Source: Sanook -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2017-10-
tifino
no need to name'n'shame, as a picture is better than a 1000 words but, hopefully he ID'd it by stealth, by having his 'location' active in facebook

Maggusoil
Can't see why it shouldn't go with a shot of the restaurant.

Maybe because here in the Kingdom, even if the information is true and correct you can still be sued for defamation and you can quite possibly lose the case. thenewgoo
I'd wouldn't be surprised if this sort of thing happens a lot in market food around Thailand. Some of it tastes good but you roll the dice each time.
smotherb
Well, I'd almost rather see dinner than hear what airport they visited or how many times they had a bowel movement

robertthesculptor
What's the big deal. Certainly you have looked into the pot of fish sauce...often crawling with maggots. Same thing earlier in the day
scotchonrocks
Very healthy and indeed certainly good for gut probiota count. I'll take my chances at McDonalds however.

Yes, well I wouldn't want to test the case, but reporting a fact is not defamatory. However however, yes point taken. i.e. Andy Hall. . . Very sensitive to criticism in Asia. In these circumstances how do they expect their country to improve its ways.
