Hi after 30 minuets on the phone listening to music from the Royal Thai Embassy in London the phone was put down [emoji36] I’m married to a Thai and I just wanted to know how do I prove my income ? I have all the other paperwork in place like my Thai Id my wife’s Id mine and the wife’s Tabien Baan both passports . Is there anything I’m missing ? Just it’s a 6 hour drive and I want to be prepared . Also where is some good reasonable accommodation near the embassy?

Thanks in advance.

You don't need to prove any income for that visa. Your marriage certificate and wife's ID are all thats needed.

This is from the Royal Thai London's website "A copy of marriage certificate,a copy of Thai passport/a copy of Thai ID of spouse and (3 months bank statement showing monthly income of more than £1,400 annually.)"

It's not enforced, no proof of income required.

That is an error that has been on the their website for years. If you do a little math you will find that 1400 pounds is about 65k baht which is for retirement.

Many people have gotten the visa without financial proof.
