The team of Fisheries officers visited each farm and suggested ways to tighten security measures and evacuation plans in case of emergency flooding cases.

Following the rains in Phuket which resulted in some areas being flooded, Phuket Fisheries Officers visited crocodile farms to ensure the security for locals and tourists preventing the farms’ reptiles from escaping to outside waters.

 

There are 4 businesses with about 500 crocodiles in Muang Phuket and Thalang District and one personally owned crocodile in Thalang District.
