Multiple Entry Visa - Only Penang and Manila?!

Featured Replies

I was told you can only go to Penang or Manila to do a Multiple Entry visa, in South East Asia.

Can this be true?! I am a small business owner in Phuket.

Thank you

Marco

Are you referring to a multiple-entry non-immigrant 'B' visa? Rather than a multiple-entry non-immigrant 'O' visa (on the grounds of visiting a Thai spouse? Or any other multiple-entry visa?

I'm referring to the multiple-entry non-immigrant 'B' visa.

If you have a work permit with at least 8 month remaining validity, Penang will give you a multiple entry Non B. I do not know the rules in Manila. In general, it is difficult to get multiple entry Non B visas, but they might be available elsewhere.

Yes. I wonder where. There has got to be an alternative.

I know there are a few embassies in OZ that issue them. You will have to check. I think one is in Melbourne and another may be in Perth

The embassy is in Canberra and there is a official Thai consulate in Sydney. The others are honorary Thai consulates that can no longer issue multiple entry visas unless they are approved by the embassy.

Thanks for the info. I'm just wondering if there is anything close to Thailand..
