well on my return to Thailand i religously counted 90 days which was today 7 th november. i go to immigration, the officer say you too early, need to come on 21st which is my yearly retirement, (so that would be 113 days, ) he said i do for you this time, so i left, one totally confused person, with a 90 day due on 4 feb and i go back on the 21st nov to renew my retitrement, ??

You could of done your extension today. Not sure what he meant by to early.

You can do your 90 day reports up to 15 days before or 7 days after the report date including the report date in the count.

It would be a good idea, if you can, to renew your extension of stay this week so that you are still within the 7 day window. If you miss a report, and don't see the same IO on the 21st, you might get fined. You don't need to wait until the last day (21st) to renew the extension, which will start when the current one ends regardless of how early you apply.
