Entered Thailand 87 days ago,can I extend at local immigration for the 60 days to maximise the times between border runs?

Prior to the 60 days extension expiring,do a border run gain 90 days and extend again?

That approach works fine. You will need your spouse with you when applying for the extension.

So thanks for input can I clarify every 150 days border run? if gain an 60 day extension,its not a one off 60 day extension

Correct : one 60-day extension for each entry into Thailand.

Yes border run only every 150 days. The "1 year" non imm O  visa will last 17 months is you plan carefully.

Do not forget T30 (and possibly T28), as you may be asked for it when you apply for your 2 months extension.
